thunderstorms are gone, forests are lush green, rivers

are full of clear water, and all wildlife and birds are
happily roaming around. So at this perfect time of year we are going to the core of this region, it's time to do the Vadagaon - Bhimachi Kathi - Kudapan - Pratapgad trek.

And the 1000 feet waterfall in between is cherry on the
cake.

After successfully completing our Monsoon trek to Thanale Caves - Sudhagad with happy trekkers, here we are preparing for our next event.
Lonavala to Bhimashanakr range (Lo-Bhi) is one of the best places to visit during monsoon period, dense forest, vast plateaus, water streams, deep valleys this trek is considered to be a favorite trek amongst the regular trekkers and nature lovers

Trek Grade : Moderate-Difficult

Itinerary
Day 1 :
Meet at Lonavala station by 09:00 am. Here, enjoy the small introduction session along with breakfast. Start the trek from the railway station. We will have lunch on the way by 14:00 (approx). After having lunch we will proceed towards our next halt that is Jambhivli village. A typical small village surrounded by scenic mountains, which is also famous as a base village for one of the toughest treks Dhak-Bhairi. Interact with local people and will have dinner here made by local people. Overnight at Jambhivli village.

Day 2 :
Wake up early by natural alarm. Again breakfast made by local villagers. We will start our trek towards the beautiful Kusur plateau. Smaller versions of kaas at some places. If lucky, we might get a chance to see any wildlife here. The huge plateau with awesome greenery and windy sometimes. We’ll reach Kusur village by lunch time. Have lunch at Kusur village. From here we will take a small jeep ride and then start trekking from there to Padharwadi village via the famous ‘Vandre Khind’ which is a rest of day village. This village is at the core of Sahyadri. Where no network is available you just need to connect with nature. After dinner, overnight stay at Padharwadi.

Day 3 :
The final Day. Today we’ll reach our final destination , Bhimashankar. We will start our trek earlier so that we can complete as early as possible. After breakfast, start the trek from Padharwadi. After crossing a huge plateau, reach the final point at Bhimashankar Temple. Here after having lunch we will conclude the trek with lots of memories.

Description
Lying on the edge of ghats, to the west of Nimgiri, is the hill of Dev-Daundya, a trek to which could be combined with the former. From the top of Dev-Daundya an excellent view of Bhairavgad on the west, in the Kontan is obtained.

The Balaghat mountain range of the Sahyadris cuts across Pune, Nagar and Nashik districts. There are many forts, ghats/passes nested in this range. Nimgiri fort is located opposite to Harishchandragad fort and is known for its rock cut stairs.
Nimgiri and Hanumantgad forts have been separated by a cleft and it takes about 4 hours to visit both the forts.

तारामती नळीचा शोध २०१३ मध्ये अरुण सावंत सर आणि चमूने लावला. भविष्यात सह्याद्री मधल्या अति कठीण श्रेणी मध्ये या नळीची नोंद होईल . कोकणातील थितबी गावातून बालेकिल्ल्याच्या आणि तारामती शिखर या दोघांच्या मध्ये या नळीने चढाई करावी लागते. या ट्रेक मध्ये १० ते १२ rock climbing patch आहेत व १०० फूट traverse. छोटीशी झलक म्हणून एक व्हिडिओ तुम्हाला दाखवत आहे.

Vasota and Sajjangad Trek and Camping

Vasota Fort is an ancient hill fort situated at an altitude of 1171 mtrs near Bamnoli in Satara district. The fort is situated in the deep forests and valleys of Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary. Situated on the banks of the Shivsagar Lake, Vasota Fort is surrounded by water on three sides.

Sajjangad, meaning "Fort of Good People", is located near the city of Satara, India. It is the final resting place of Sant Ramdas in 18th century India.
