13th Oct Day 01: NJP RLY STATION/IXB AIRPORT BAGDOGRA TO GANGTOK
(Distance-120 km/Duration- 4 hrs)
Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became the capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist centre and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkimâs Himalayan mountain ranges. On arrival Check-in to the hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
14th Oct Day 02: TRANSFER TO LACHEN
(Distance-135 kms/Duration- 5-6 hrs)
After Breakfast drive towards North Sikkim (Lachen). Drive 135 Kilometers from Gangtok- Lachen is 35 kilometres from Chungthang Reach Lachen late afternoon/early evening. Night stay at hotel.
15th Oct Day 03: SIGHTSEEING GURUDONGMAR LAKE TRANSFER TO GANGTOK
(Distance- 113.1 kms/Duration- 4-5hrs)
Early morning after breakfast visit to Gurudongmar Lake 2-3 hours drive. A valley at an altitude of 11,800 feet through which Lachen Chu flows, generally covered with snow from December to April or even more is known as the Holy/Sacred Lake- Next drive through the cold desert till Tibet/China back to Resort for Lunch- After lunch drive to Lachung - THe Region is fully covered with Rhododendron forest with Chopta valley and Thangu as the other places of interest- Back to Hotel for lunch after lunch proceed towards Gangtok- Overnight Stay at hotel at Gangtok.
Day 4:16 oct: Excursion to Changu Lake/Baba Mandir
