The final days of the 2023 Tawang Adventures for the motorcycle group, Miles Munchers, concluded with the Kaziranga Safari followed by the return ride to Guwahati.

The journey encompassed the breathtaking stretch from the banks of Brahmaputra to the high-altitude Bumla via Tawang and the magnificent sightings of the one-horned rhinos in Kaziranga.

Tomorrow marks the end of our trip with a visit to Maa Kamakhya in Guwahati, as riders head back home, filled with happiness and numerous cherished memories.

Yesterday, the team enjoyed a leisurely day exploring Tawang city. We visited several notable places, including the Tawang Monastery, the War Memorial, the Giant Statue of Lord Buddha, the 6th HH Dalai Lama's house and monastery, and the Chagzam Suspension Bridge.

Today, we embarked on our journey back from Tawang to Bomdila, passing through Sela and Dhirang.

On the fifth day of our journey, we found ourselves a bit perplexed by the situation in Tawang. For the past day, Tawang had been grappling with a fuel shortage. Nevertheless, we were resourceful enough to secure some petrol.

Half of our group continued ahead on their bikes, while the rest took the backup vehicle to reach Bumla. Bumla a high altitude mountain pass along the Indo-China border.

It was a fulfilling day as we explored the numerous places in and around Bumla.

On the fourth day of their journey, the team departed from the picturesque Sangti Valley and made their way to Tawang, navigating the challenging Sela Mountain Pass. They marveled at the breathtaking roads that Arunachal Pradesh had to offer, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Despite the dropping temperatures, the riders were relishing the chilly atmosphere.

We at Xkmph are filled with pride and nostalgia as we stumbled upon some images from a press coverage of a charity ride in 2016 that we had organized along with other motorcycle groups in Kolkata. It was an amazing experience to see so many riders come together to support a noble cause, and it reminded me of why we started Xkmph in the first place.

At Xkmph, we believe in giving back to society and the motorcycle community in whatever way we can. These images from the charity ride in 2016 were a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together as a community. It was a proud moment for the team at Xkmph, and we hope that we can continue to make a positive impact in the world through our activities.

As many know we run professional motorcycle tours in Ladakh, Sikkim, North East India, Darjeeling, Nepal, and Bhutan along with motorcycle rentals in few places. Our goal is to provide riders with an unforgettable experience and create memories that will last a lifetime. We as a team have a huge wealth of knowledge and experience, and any rider who needs help with any information, help in trip planning or issues during ride can post their queries/help in our group. Many had been asking which would be a better choice between vs .

Well they fall in two different power segment. However we can view the pros and cos with practicality in mind.

The is a nimble and agile motorcycle that is well-suited for both off-road and city riding. It is lightweight, making it easy to handle and maneuver on tight trails or in traffic. The smaller engine still packs plenty of power for a fun ride.

On the other hand, the is a much larger and more substantial motorcycle that is built for longer distance touring and mid level off-road use. It has a larger engine that provides plenty of power and torque, making it well-suited for highway riding and steep inclines.

Xpulse 200 4V:

1. is a lighter and more affordable dual-sport motorcycle

2. has a smaller engine, producing less horsepower and torque

3. is more suited for off-road adventures, but also capable of handling city riding

Royal Enfield Himalayan:

1. is a heavier and more rugged adventure touring motorcycle

2. has a larger engine, producing more horsepower and torque

3. is more suited for longer distance touring and light off-road use.

In conclusion, both motorcycles have their strengths and weaknesses, and the choice between them will largely depend on the individual rider's preferences and riding needs.

If you're looking for a motorcycle that is versatile and capable of handling a variety of riding conditions, the 4V might be the better choice. However, if you're looking for a motorcycle that is built for long-distance touring and mid level off-road use, the Royal Enfield Himalayan might be the way to go.

So, the choice between these two motorcycles will largely depend on personal preferences and riding needs.

Long term Ride Review of Hero xPulse 200 4v as per our experience.

The Hero Xpulse 4v is a great motorcycle for adventure enthusiasts. It has a compact, lightweight design that makes it easy to handle and maneuver on different terrains. The bike is powered by a 200cc engine that provides ample power and torque, making it suitable for both off-road and on-road riding.

One of the standout features of the Xpulse 4v is its suspension system. It has long-travel suspension that provides a smooth and comfortable ride, even on rough and bumpy roads. Additionally, the bike comes with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, which provide stability and excellent grip on loose terrain.

The Xpulse 4v also features a high-tech instrument console that displays all the relevant information, including speed, fuel level, and odometer. The bike also has a large fuel tank that provides a good range, so you don’t have to stop for fuel frequently.
