Ashtaar valley is located at a height of around 3700 metres above sea level. This  is a small valley under the foothills of Mount Tatakoti (4750 Metres). Shali Ganga flows through Ashtar valley which then reaches Doodh Pathri and finally joins Doodh Ganga river around Wathoora, Chadoora. Tatakoti is part of Pir Panjal mountain range and across it is Poonch district.

We are up for the trek to Mamneth on 28th Feb 2021(Sunday). As you might be aware that there are several guidelines and checklists for the adventure lovers to follow. So that the trek goes smoothly.

Here is the checklist for the treks:
1. Hiking backpack
2. Weather-appropriate clothing (think moisture-wicking and layers)
3. Hiking boots or shoes
4. Plenty of food
5. Plenty of water
6. Rain Coat.
7. Dry Lunch.
8. Sunglasses.
9. Sunscreen.

Guidelines:
1. Everyone needs to sign an undertaking form on arrival.
2. Spots are limited, Completely first come first serve basis.
3. Join the whats app group for communication(Link in What's app Story)
4. Trek fee is 300/head.
5. Trek fee needs to be deposited by or before 26th Feb 2021 (Friday).
6. If due to bad weather conditions we need to delay the trek, the next date will be in coming week and information will be shared accordingly.
7. The pickup and drop location will be TRC Srinagar.

Note: The bus will Leave exact from TRC Srinagar at 7:45 AM, reporting time is 7:30 AM

Trek at glance: Trek will commence from Dara at Scholars school towards the mamneth top and then will return back to the same spot. The trek is easy- Moderate level difficult.
Trek difficulty: Easy - Moderate
Elevation: 2500 Meters ASL

Trek fee needs to be Paid ASAP to book your spot.
