A small recce up to the base of less explored Greater Lakes (Tosamaidan), fresh snowfall around the place. Passes are still challenging to go up.
If the weather remains favourable we are good to go next month in sha Allah.

Our hiking in mountains have different meaning for different people, some challenge their physical strength, few come for spirituality, many want peace of mind and then it is always the mixture of everything. Mountains make us feel optimistic towards life because in the end our hike is about sustainability.

It was our first group but things did not go according to plan we had planned to go somewhere and ended up somewhere else and it only added to the experience.
We drove last few miles through narrow lanes and raw roads upto the beautiful Margan Valley in Kashmir.
We set up our camps and then had a refreshing tea time and slowly everything came under control.
As next day we would go for a short hike to the famous four lakes of Choharnag.

Although trek to Tulian Lake has a terrain that comes in between easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level but sometimes weather can change a lot and add up to the challenge.
