📍Gurez Valley is divided into two districts or tehsils. Traveling from Srinagar to Gurez, you will see picturesque beauty of landscapes. Razdan pass connects Bandipora with Gurais valley & Kamri pass connects two parts of Gurais on L.O.C. and Burzil pass leads to Chilas. Gurais was a district before the partition of subcontinent and also included the present day Neelam valley of Pakistan side Kashmir.

Presently Gurais is divided into three regions :

1. From Baghtor to Sharda Peeth. (This part is under Pakistan held Kashmir Administration under the name of Neelam Valley).

2. From Baghtor to Abdullae Tulail. (This part is under India under the name of Gurez Valley).

3. From Chorwan (Sandyaal) to Burzil pass. (This part is under direct control of Pakistan as a part of “Northern Areas”).

Access to Gurez valley is easy. Government is developing the place and making the roads bigger for easy acess for Tourists so that border tourism will be promoted.
Every traveller must know few things before traveling to Gurez Valley.
1. Watch & enjoy the scenic beauty only.
2. Keep your I'd proofs with you.
3. Do not carry the Drones.
4. Do not cross the sensitive Areas (Respect the Border line🙏)
5. Whatever receipts or I'd proof detailed bar codes you recieve from checking points must keep preserve until you return back to Srinagar.
6. Try to avoid taking pictures near security areas.
7. Stay In Dawar village is normal guest house type. so, do not expect 2⭐, 3⭐, 4⭐ service of accommodation.
8. Gurez valley people speaks Shina, Kashmiri, Hindi & Urdu Languages. Very few speaks English. Local guides speaks manageable English.
9. A traveller can stay in personal Camps, but better to stay in Guests houses because the forest near is full of 🐻bear

In the pictures you will see: Razdan Pass, old type Log huts, wooden houses and wooden shops of Dawar, village of Tulail valley, HABBA KHATOON Peak & Spring water, Kishan Ganga river (Neelam River).
