Prashar Lake Trek, Mandi
One of the most offbeat places in Himachal Pradesh, Prashar Lake is a crystal clear water body situated about 50 km north of Mandi, with a three-storied pagoda-like temple dedicated to the sage Prashar. The lake is located at the height of 2730 m above sea level with deep blue waters and holds a saintly position there. Bounded by mighty Dhauladhar ranges in Kullu Valley, the place is full of mystic charm.
It is surrounded by snow-topped peaks and looks down on the fast flowing river Beas. The temple was built in the thirteenth century, and its construction comes under the light of a vague myth. The lake has a floating island in it, and its actual depth is unclear.
Its lush green valleys, interspersed with rivers and lakes offer one of the most scenic and enjoyable trekking experiences.

Pundrik Lake Trek is 400 m long at an altitude of 2100 m, here you will find lush long grass floating above water. Every year in the month of October it is visited to celebrate Sage Pundrik’s birth anniversary. Entering the water, drinking or non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited here.

Pundrik Lake trek is a short weekend Trek in Himachal, great for family and friends to spend time together, rejuvenate themselves and break the monotony of life.

Take Aut to Sainj Bus-stand and then further to Ropa (Just before Neuli) and then hike up to the lake via Jhili Neahi village. There is also a motorable road till Jhili Neahi but shared cars will charge a lot of money.

Pin Parvati Pass is named after the pass link of Parvati Valley of Kullu to Pin Valley in Spiti. The journey starts from Kullu and ends in Manali taking 11 days adventurous trip. The exciting part of this trek falls in the abundant beauty of nature with attractive landscape, lush greenery, intense alpine forest, wild colorful blossoming flowers and north terrestrial sceneries. The trekking starts from driving to Barsheni Village from Kullu. While trekking to Rudranath and camp followed by Khirganga to Tunda Bhuj and Thakur Kuan at height of 13400 high trekkers discover the barren valleys of Himachal, attractive villages, bright sea cliff, and high chilling waterfalls. Khir Ganga is devoted to lord Shiva where devotees takes a deep bath in hot tank water. The pass gives a striking view on one side of a colorful hue of mountains flanked by the snowy peaks and the barren Spiti valley on the other.
