The Trichy Travel Federation is a non-profitable society that focuses on making the city one of the most preferred tourist destinations in the south. Established in 2009, the federation comprises of airlines, hotels, travel agents, hospitals, educational institutions and the state tourism department. The idea is to promote the interests of the travel, medical, educational, hospitality and tourism industries in the city.
