Kye Monestry is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery located on top of a hill at an altitude of 4,166 metres (13,668 ft) above sea level, close to the Spiti River, in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh, Lahaul and spiti, India.
It is the largest and oldest monastery of the Spiti Valley and a religious training centre for lamas. It reportedly had 100 monks in 1855.
It is about 12 km north of Kaza and 210 km from Manali by road.

The small beautiful lake with fresh water in the midst of deodar forest. Tani Jubber is about 11 KM from Narkanda on Narkanda Thanedar road, Thanedhar is about 5 kM from the lake, There is a temple of local deity (Naag Devta Temple) near the lake. A small park is also maintained in the forest for walk through the forest. Now some guest houses are also found near the lake, this place is very good for picnic and day out trip.
This place is accessible throughout the year, but summer is the best time to visit. ✈

THE enchanting Churdhar peak in Sirmaur is one of the highest Peak of Shivalik ranges at a height of 11965 feet. Churdhar, commonly known as Churichandni (Bangle of Snow), is blessed with some of the most spectacular and beautiful landscapes in this region. The view from the summit embraces a vast panorama of lowland tracts towards the south and snow-capped ranges, including the peaks of Badrinath and Kedarnath in the Garhwal region, towards the north.A wealth of herbs and beautiful alpine flora cover these Himalayan slopes. Walking through the wildlife sanctuary, one spots the spectacular monal, Himachal’s state bird, along with koklass and kaleej pheasants. The canine-toothed musk deer and the endangered Himalayan black bear inhabit the higher forests.Below the summit is the deodar-roofed, single-storey, square temple of Srigul with a lingam, dedicated to Shiva (Chooreshwar Mahadev). Pilgrims sing and dance at night during the Navratras fair in this ancient temple.Trekkers tread over small glaciers on their way to the wind-blown Churdhar summit, which has moderate to heavy snowfall (average of 33 feet snow). Often the Srigul temple gets buried under it.A view of the rainbow emerging on the horizon after the rain, is a memorable sight. The multi-coloured rays streaming out of the cloud cover, make the sky look like a huge chandelier.

📍 Jogini Falls, Manali, Himachal Pradesh

At a distance of 7.5 Km from Manali Bus Stand, Jogini or Jogni Falls is a beautiful waterfall situated near Vashisht Village in Himachal Pradesh. The fall is formed by a stream which is merged in to Beas River in the downstream. The waterfall can be reached by trekking from Vashisht Temple. It is among popular places to visit in Manali and also one of the famous Places to visit in Himachal. This is one of the top attractions you must include in Manali Packages.

Jogini Falls is situated on the Northern edge of Vashisht Village & mark the village boundary. The waterfall cascades down from a height of around 150 feet through multiple levels. There is a small pool at the base formed by the fall and visitors can take a plunge in the water and spend some time. The flow of the water is heaving in monsoons and suggested not to adventure into the water during this time. Jogini mata temple is at the base of the waterfall. It is a sacred site to the surrounding villages. The locals bring their children for their first tonsure here.

The trek to Jogini Falls is among the best short treks near Manali. The trek route passes through a narrow lane adjacent to Vashisht temple and goes through apple orchards, tall pine trees and small water streams. On the way few restaurants and guest houses are also available. A gentle walk will take 1 hour to reach the base of waterfall. Top point of the waterfall can be reached by a walk of another 15 minutes. This is nice gentle trek which can be completed in 3 hours from Vashisht Temple. The whole trek route is very scenic through beautiful villages aligned with the sprawling valleys. This is one of the best short treks in Manali to enjoy local scenic beauty and village life in Himalayas.

Serolsar Lake is a high altitude lake in the Siraj Valley of the Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh, India. The lake is about 3,100 metres above the sea level. .
Just walking through the dark and deep lovely forests of deodars and conifers is such a pleasure. The trek is easy to moderate with both going to and back from lake having ascents and descents. It can take about 4 hours including time at the lake which is small but with lush green vegetation all around.
Serolsar Lake is accessible via Jalori pass.
