Another destination for travel lovers "Coorg"

Coorg is one of the top names in offbeat destinations. This hilly retreat, located near Bangalore, is known for aromatic coffee estates, spice plantations, sizzling waterfalls, enchanting hills, sail in coracle in Cauvery River & trek up to Abbey Falls.

Best time to visit:
• With the temperature ranging between 15 degree Celcius and 20 degree Celcius throughout the year, Coorg is a year-round destination. That said, October to March is the best time for adventure activities especially trekking. March and April are the favoured months to experience the valley shrouded in white flowers.

Places to visit in Coorg:
• Don’t miss: Nagarhole National Park, Dubare Elephant Park, and Namdroling Monastery are some of the best place.

How to reach by flight:
• Bangalore airport is the nearest international airport. It is 260 Kms (one way) by road to reach Coorg and will takes 06 hours approx.
• Mysore airport is the nearest domestic airport to reach Coorg. Mysore connects with all the metro cities through flight. It is approx. 107 Kms (one way) to reach Coorg by road and will takes 03 hours approx.

How to reach by Train:
• There is a very good connectivity to reach Mysore from all the metro cities of India. Mysore railway station is the nearest station to reach Coorg. It is approx. 107 Kms (one way) by road and will takes 03 hours approx.

• There are very good 5 star category, 4 star category and 3 star category of hotels in Coorg.
