Chitkul - The Last Village on Tibet Border, is a small village near Indo-China border in the Sangla Valley of Himachal Pradesh. Baspa river is the main source of water for this small village. The village is 25 km away from Sangla, it takes 2 – 3 hours to reach Chitkul. It is situated at 3,450 meters above the sea level. This village has its own charm with people who are living here. In this heavenly place, people are calm, quiet, honest and believer of both Hinduism and Buddhism. In the ancient mythology, the people of Chitkul were known as Kinnaras means the halfway between Gods and Humans.

Bir billing is a heaven for paragliding, reported as most suitable site for paragliding in Asia. This place remain busy for paragliding from March to June and September to December till snow fall at Billing.To reach at this place ,you can come via air to Gaggal or via train and via bus but avoid train as it takes very long time.

Bir is also famous for boddhist monestries. Nearby places which will be worth visiting are Barot, Joginder Nagar, Chauntra and Baijnath.

Churdhar Peak Trek is at 12000ft height takes you to the highest peak in the outside Himalayan range. George Everest made his astronomical reading of Himalayan Mountains. Chur-Dhar is also known as Churi-Chandni Dhar (Bangles of snow ridge).
The approach to Churdhar summit can be done from three sides. The shortest and most popular one is from Nauradhar in Sirmour district. The peak is surrounded with a 56 square km forest sanctuary, which makes trekking a delightful affair. The trek to Churdhar can be done from May till November, when the snow melts and the trails are accessible. The trek is a steep hike inside a dense Deodar forest, terraced fields and gujjar pasture lands.

If you do not let the bird fly, one day it'll forget how to. Baby birds have this ritual where on attaining a particular age (as per their choice), they choose to leave their nest.

Sometimes, some choose to remain until time is overdue. In such situations, the mother bird has to force the baby bird out of the nest, in order for it to fend for itself.

The choice is simple, either fly or die.
Many times people who love us have to choose between freedom and safekeeping.

The 100 year old buddhist monastery as seen from the town of Kalpa against the massive Kinnaur Kailash mountain range in the backdrop.
The Great Kinnaur Kailash Mountains have witnessed whole lot of history of reality which is beyond growth, beyond struggle and death of our human civilization. Over the centuries Himalayan mountains have seen evolution of people and societies who once inhabited places like Kalpa - High up into the mountains. These enormous mountains strengthen absolute faith in the midst of eternal change and unity in the testing times of survivals.

For this time(when in the Himalaya) at least, let yourself be rooted in the unshakeable sanity of the senses, spare your mind from the burden of too much thinking, turn yourself outward to experience the world and inward to savor the pleasures it has given you. 🏔

The Mountains Of Monks🏔️
Location 📍- 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆,Spiti valley (HP).

Overlooking Kaza from a height of about 13,500 ft, the Key monastery is the largest in the valley and holds a powerful sway over the most populous part of the valley around Kaza. The gompa is an irregular heap of low rooms and narrow corridors on a monolithic conical hill. From a distance is resembles the Thiksey monastery near Leh in Ladakh. The irregular prayer chambers are interconnected by dark passages, tortuous staircases and small doors.
Hundreds of lamas receive their religious training in the monastery. It is also known for its beautiful murals, thankas, rare manuscripts, stucco images and peculiar wind instruments that form part of the orchestra whenever Chham is enacted in the gompa in summer. Another interesting aspect of the gompa is its collection of weapons which may have been used to ward off marauders as also to maintain its control over people betraying a church-militant character.

Kareri Lake is a high altitude, shallow, fresh water lake south of the Dhauladhar range approximately 9 km North West of Dharamsala in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh. Its surface is 9,625 Feet above the sea level.
