Tadoba never fails to impress! Bajrang, a shy and elusive male tiger, came out of the grass right in front of our Gypsy. We waited for him for over 40 minutes and then tracked him for the rest of the safari - as he crossed the main road, walked around near some streams and finally rested in the shade of the deep jungle.

Ever wondered how we named ourselves? 🤔Here's the story! 😁 Read on⤵️

We can find any number of things in nature that inspire us, if we pay enough attention. And having the privilege of living amongst the wilderness, presented us with an opportunity of doing just that!

Nicknamed "Hoot" & "Screech" this pair of spotted owlets were the very first residents to inhabit our area and over the years have entertained us with their immensely intriguing ways and have found a safe and wild habitat with us, where they flourished, having given birth to several lots of chicks who grew up and moved away.

For us, it was thus only fair to dedicate our place to them. So came the name - The Spotted Owlet Homestay ☺️☺️
