The Shiva Lingam is a divine representation and symbol of Lord Shiva.🔱 At this scale, they are found in Hindu temples.

One custom practice that we always do in our journeys is to offer water to Shiva, by pouring it on the Shiva Lingam.

Shiva Linga is a root of this whole universe (“Bhramanda”) and so, you too” Mamta Rajshree

Just like we offer water to a plant to thrive, at its root, the same we offer water to the Shiva Lingam.

As we are also a small ray of Shiva’s light, through this offering we offer water at our root as well, for own own growth and expansion. 🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏻

Among the busy, noisy and narrow streets of Haridwar we arrive at the Anandamayi Ashram, dedicated to the Bengali mystic woman Anandamayi Ma.

We enter in what feels like another space, full of peace, silence and tranquility.

Spiritual seekers from all over the world come here to pray, meditate, chant and feel the pure and soothing energy of the ashram, where Anandamayi Ma's remains are buried.

Yoli ( Amritae Design ) is from Bucharest, Romania, living in India for the past five years. She works as a logo creatrix and teaches online pranala yoga classes.

Amit ( Shivaratri Cafe Music ) is a wonderful devotional music singer and artist from India.

We are based in Rishikesh, at the foothills of the Himalayas and by the side of the Ganges. 🏞️

Together we have created this beautiful group journey project in 2017 to introduce and guide our friends into the spiritual beauty of Northern India and we organise one journey every year.

The tibetan monks at the Gyuto Ta***ic Monastery in Dharmashala are famous for their chanting. They were even nominated in 2011 for a Grammy.

We visit Gyuto Monastery every year in our journeys, and it was auspicious to arrive in 2018 with our group at the moment of chanting, to meditate in that energy and vibration.

In our own journey together we felt, since the first moments, that beyond words, we speak the same language.

Our similar nature recognizes the same truth in all major traditions: we visit with gratitude Amit's Muslim Master, we are melted by the inner beauty of our Orthodox priest which wed in Romania in 2017 and we feel much love for Mooji .

In Dharamshala, Nepal and Thailand we pray and feel the energy of the Buddhist temples. We feel the same awe and amazing beauty in Hindu, Christian or Buddhist temples, churches, mosques, same energy expressed differently.

We’ve blended our gifts and talents for all those who wish to go deeper in the lights of their own hearts, through the Indian spiritual energy: Yoli’s experience of traveling in India as a Western woman and Amit’s previous experience as a guide, sharing the Indian spirituality and teaching devotional music in travel groups.

We are looking forward for the gates of India to open again and to welcome you to experience India for the first time in a new Sacred Journey 🙏🔱💫

We are so grateful to be organising and hosting Sacred Journeys to Northern India since 2017, for the ones want to experience India for the first time, in a holistic, real, intense and personal way.

India has a lot of magic to offer, especially the track we chose, as Northern India and the Himalayas are so rich in spiritual culture and encompass so many places blessed by Shiva. 🔱
