Why should you Hire Local Guides..?

Traveling is all about Exploring new places, meeting new people and experiencing something different than routine.

The world is huge and there are so many things that you can potentially see, experience... But it's not always easy to Research and Read about everything so that's why we hire local guides who usually know their home region better than us and have so many connections on the ground which you might not be able to find easily or access responsibly on your own.

Tourism is a vast subject and has a great potential to liberate your soul and expand your Horizons.

Having a local guide could make this transition easier and help you understand local culture better and also protects you from potential risks, hazards and tourist traps.

They can help you avoid or smoothly navigate through the beaten touristy spots.

Besides they can make you feel comfortable while visiting very different cultures and local communities.

When you travel you are making an impact to local people, environment and culture and having a local guide could potentially decrease negative impacts on local culture and environment and increase positive impacts to the region you are visiting.

Before this becomes a complete past and rare opportunity, one must visit Rural India.

So-called development is happening faster than we can handle it environmentally, Culturally and some of us Emotionally.

If that's how my country is changing or economically forced to change in the name of Development... Who are we to talk about Slow and Sustainable Development?

All i can see is that it's happening faster than one can understand what's going well and what's not going well.

Many people say that "Time is Money" is soon going to say "Peace is a mortgage" and I doubt if Capitalism could deliver all these 3 (Money+Time+Peace of Mind) to 1.4 Billion people fairly?

Unfortunately some corners of my country have Roads, Phones, Electricity... Etc but not enough Time to Relax, Peace of Mind to Cherish... Perhaps a bit more money than before to keep occupied with unhealthy consumptions, more ideas to spend more money....

Thanks Capitalism.
Thanks for Development.
Thanks for everything that we have now at the cost of Loss of the RICH CULTURE AND TRADITIONS and CLEAN AIR and WATER my country had once and how each regime, inventions, rulers and governments have been shaping this country...

Is it an Informed choice? A sustainable development? Or a result of Globalisation and Capitalism which thrives upon "Wants"
Never ending Wants... Never satisfying Wants... The More You have.. the more you want. and Profit makers in most industries just thinking about more Money... Numbers of customers...?

I don't know. Just thinking out loud as always. There is no conclusion here.. I am just learning to accept the way things are changing and I have no choice but to witness this.

I will try to see positive changes among them and continue living as mindfully and consciously as possible. And sorry if it's too much for you guys 😜 I have chosen to Share more because I believe

Our Story

Namaste ! Welcome to “Kutch Adventures India” - World Responsible Tourism Award winner for Best in Engaging People and Culture :)

If you’re a person who is in love with India and willing to explore something off the beaten with a local host who is passionate about his land and people, you’re reading this page for a reason. :)

Story of Kutch Adventures India, started after the 2001 Earthquake when the founder Kuldip Gadhvi, one of the survivor who was only 18 years old. Having worked with various relief and rehabilitation programmes, he learnt a lot about various communities of Kutch and their unique traditions and lifestyles which made him fell in love with his people. Studying health and social care in UK for a short while, his roots brought him back to Bhuj and Kutch Adventures India was formed.

His passion and free spirit helped him to create this community oriented business that started out of his love for his land- Kutch (India’s western most district, full of textile and handicrafts and some of the most colourful local communities). Soon the business grow and secured Responsible Tourism Award in UK and few more recognition in the travel world.
