The Giants Causeway was formed 60 million years ago. Ireland was back then a part of North America, but once it started ripping away it created huge rifts on the Earth's surface. Layers of basalts were formed on the chalk landscape due to the volcanic eruptions.

The Giant’s Causeway was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1986.

Minack means a rocky place, ‘meynek’ in Cornish. This extraordinary open air theatre perched on rugged cliffs of South-west Cornwall was built by Rowena Cade. She didn't just design it but actually built it herself with a few helpers. A true 'master builder of this masterpiece!

The views are splendid! 😍

Each year, over 200 live performances take place at the Minack, including plays, musicals, opera, and children’s events.

You shall definitely get 'Mamma Mia' vibes here!

• Is a magnificent masterpiece and also one of the most popular tourist attractions of the world 🌎. It is so huge that we managed to complete only the half of palace and the gardens.
• It dates back to the 17th century & was successively a hunting lodge. It is a former royal residence built by King Louis XIV.
• The Palace of Versailles is a visual history of French architecture from the 1630s to the 1780s.

A long due post is finally up 🗒️

Thank you Hannah and Steve for hosting us in your home. You took great care of us. We are grateful! 😊

It was our first experience in a B&B and honestly at the beginning we were skeptical as to how our rooms would be, will we get a good vegetarian breakfast, will we get good service as we expect in a hotel,etc..etc.

But you both didn't even once let us feel like that and made our stay extremely memorable and homely. From clean and spacious rooms, to delicious cooked breakfast every morning, from refilling the goodies basket every day to letting us play with Lexie 🐶, we couldn't have asked for more! Not just this, Hannah, thank you so much for that relaxing foot massage. Gals, you have to try her therapeutic massages, those are her superpowers! 💆‍♀️

This was our second visit to the lake district and second to too.

The hotel is perfect in terms of location, food, rooms, ambience, hygiene and most importantly service. The staff has always been helpful, polite and co-operative.

Fingal's Cave is a sea cave on the uninhabited island of Staffa, in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland, known for its natural acoustics.

Fingal's Cave is formed entirely from hexagonally jointed basalt columns and is similar to Giant's causeway in Northern Ireland.

This was the main attraction for which we booked this whole tour with and they did a marvellous job of showing us this unexplored part of Scotland.
