💥 KORIGAD FORT TREK 💥

Korigad is a hill fort in the Maval region of Pune, Maharashtra, India, about 20 kilometers south of Lonavala. It's also called Koraigad, Koarigad, or Kumwarigad.
It's situated in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra, and is a popular trekking destination known for its scenic beauty and historical significance.
Korigad offers a panoramic view of the Deccan Plateau as well as the Konkan region. It has a jungle trail and well-constructed stairs to reach the top. The top view includes Amby Valley, Pawna Lake, Runway Strip, Tung Fort, Tikona Fort, Rajmachi Fort, and many more.

Successful Ride & Trek Event to ROHIDA FORT 🔥

Hello Riders !! 🏍️🔥

We are coming back with an exciting 26th Jan weekend ride 🇮🇳🤩

Interesting part is we will be doing a curated circuit that will take us through the beautiful curves of Tamhini mountain pass to untouched locations near Savitri River & also will take mighty NH72 ghat to explore the old mahabaleshwar while returning home 🌄

▪️Ride Date - 26/01/2024
▪️Starting Point - Dange Chowk

▪️Event fees - Approximate expenses for stay and food - Rs. 2000 per head (We will be collecting an advance of Rs. 1000 per head by this weekend for confirmation)

We have arranged for accomodation at a resort having a fantastic pool to chill 🤽🏼‍♀️🎸

✅Itinerary :

🔷️26th Jan 2024 (Friday) Day 1

6:00 am - Meet up at Dange Chowk
6:15 am - We will start the ride flaunting our Tiranga on our bike via heart of the City
7:30 am - We will exit pune city towards Tamhini ghat via Chandani Chowk
8:45 am - We will reach Mulshi and have breakfast or tea at Hotel Shivsagar or Vitthal Kamat
11:30 am - Reach Mangaon and head towards Mahad
1:30 pm - We will reach at our resort and take rest + Lunch
4:00 pm - We will start towards the iconic hot water springs bath of Sav Village (Boating in Savitri river)
5:00 pm - After the relaxing bath start towards Gandharpale Buddhist caves
6:00 pm - Return back to hotel and enjoy the night at pool side

🔷️27th Jan 2024 (Saturday) Day 2

9:00 am - Check out from the resort and start towards poladpur via NH72 after breakfast
10:30 am - Enjoy the curves and reach at the peak of NH72 ghat
11:30 am - Explore Old Mahabaleshwar and dense forest
1:30 pm - Reach panchgani and take a break have lunch at Mapro or nearby
5:00 pm - Reach home via highway

Rohida Fort , also known as Vichitragad , is situated in Pune district. It is also famous by the name Rohideshwar Fort.
Bajarwadi is the base village of the Fort, located in Bhor taluka , about 60 kms away from Pune.
It is an easy level one day trek, which is about 3600 feet above sea level.
This fort is definitely a must visit place for folks who want to experience moderate trekking experience.
