We had Sumantra and his partner Michelle over at Little Matsya. They were celebrating their long overdue honeymoon and travelling across the Western Ghats, when they landed in Little Matsya.

"The first evening sunset was amazing, I was on the beach after 3 to 4 years, and I saw so much on the beach, more than the usual seashells you see, there were starfish and dead corals.
On my way back actually I read up that the beach is known for having bioluminescence and it makes so much sense, because its so clean! And I was really happy about the fact that the location isn’t tagged."

A smol piece of heaven nestled between the wide ocean on one side and peaceful backwaters on the other. Wake up to the sound of waves approaching the shore, and have fresh seafood every day. The space has a lovely little loft that serves as a bedroom, while we’ve left a small work table that you can use as a study.
If you like surfing, Little Matsya’s near-private bay has an exciting break in the waves that you will really enjoy. We can even put you in touch with other surfing and kayaking operators.
Little Matsya has a fully-equipped kitchen, but if you aren’t the type to cook, Gopi akka next door will happily make you some Tulunadu food like fish fry, coconut sabzi, neer dosas, and more.
We encourage long term stays, and when you get here, you’ll know why.
