पूरी दुनिया बिहारी ब्रेन का लोहा मानती रही है। इसी परंपरा को बिहार की बेटी ने आगे बढ़ाते हुए 100 फीसदी अंक लाकर सबको भौंचक्का कर दिया है।मामला है दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी के श्रीराम कॉलेज ऑफ कॉमर्स के एंट्रेस एग्जाम की,जहां 100 प्रतिशत अंक हासिल करके बिहार का मान बढ़ाने का काम किया है। बिहार की किशनगंज की बेटी के इस कारनामे से पूरा प्रान्त खुशी से झूम रहा है। किसनगंज की #सुहानी जैन ने श्रीराम कॉलेज ऑफ कॉमर्स के एंट्रेंस एग्जाम में 800 में से 800 अंक लाकर नया कीर्तिमान स्थापित किया है। सुहानी के पिता संजय कुमार जैन (तेलंगाना) कैडर में सीनियर आईपीएस अधिकारी हैं और वर्तमान में एडिशनल डायरेक्टर जनरल लॉ एंड ऑर्डर तेलंगाना में पदस्थापित हैं। सुहानी की इस सफलता के बाद तेलंगाना के डीजीपी अंजनी सिंह ने सुहानी को सम्मानित किया है। इस गौरवपूर्ण उपलब्धि पर सुहानी को अनंत शुभकामनाएं प्रदान करता हूं।

हाल हीं में मुझे #बिहार प्रांत के #भोजपुर जिला की #विरासत_यात्रा का सौभाग्य प्राप्त हुआ l मौका पाते हीं आरा शहर की #अरण्य_देवी माता का आशीष लेने उनके पास पहुँच गया l बहुत हीं विस्तार से मन्दिर के पुजारी महोदय ने देवी माता से संबंधित लोक-कथाओं को बताया और माता रानी का प्रसाद रूपी आशीष को भी प्राप्त कराया l ज्यों - ज्यों मैं लोक-कथा में डूबता चला जा रहा था त्यों -त्यों मेरा मन देवी माता के रूप में मन्दिर में विराजमान #प्राचीन_प्रतिमा को नजदिक से देखने की इच्छा प्रबल हो रही थी l मन बहुत प्रफुल्लित था कि आज तो प्रतिमा का पूर्ण दर्शन हो हीं जायेगा जिसे मैं अब तक फूलों और आभूषणों से लदे देखता आ रहा था l थोड़ी देर बाद प्रधान पुजारी जी का आदेश आता है कि प्रतिमा की पहचान करनी है तो ऊपर से देख कर कीजिये अभी नजदिक से दिखाना संभव नहीं l किसी और दिन योजना बनाकर आईये l मैं उनकी मजबूरी समझ रहा था क्योकिं कतार बहुत लम्बी थी और श्रद्धालु टक-टकी निगाह से माता रानी की तरफ देख रहे थे , माता अब तो बुला लो ... l प्रवेश के द्वार से गोविन्द जी मुझे देखे जा रहे थेl उन्होने बड़े हीं प्यार से कहा आज यहाँ बहुत भीड़ है बाद में कभी देख लिजियेगा l मैंने उदास मन से हीं सिर हिलाया, जी बिल्कुल...l उन्होने मुझसे पुछा कि क्या आप भवानी माई के पास गये हैं? मैंने पुछा कहाँ है भाई ? आप भवानी माई को नहीं जानते ..चलिये मैं ले चलता हुँ ...फिर मैं #आरा से #बक्सर वाली सड़क पर सरपट गाड़ी आगे बढ़ाने लगा l

थोड़ी हीं देर में मैं मसाढ़ पहुँच गया था l मेरे मन में बार -बार इस जगह से जुड़ी एक प्रतिमा की तस्वीर सामने आ रही थी वह था, अशोककालीन प्रसिद्ध शेर जिसका दांत मनुष्य जैसा है। सोंचते-सोंचते मन्दिर में प्रवेश करने लगा l अनेकों प्राचीन प्रतिमायें देखकर मैं खुशी के मारे पगलाने लगा और थोड़ी-बहुत पुरातात्विक ज्ञान के बल पर प्रतिमाओं का काल-निर्धारन और पहचान करने लगा l मसाढ़ का माँ #भवानी का यही मन्दिर काफी प्रसिद्ध हैI प्राचीन प्रतिमाओं को फटा-फट अपने कैमरे में कैद करने लगा, तभी सहसा गांव की एक बिटीया रानी कैमरे के सामने आ गयी और कहा कि इस प्रतिमा के साथ मेरी भी एक तस्वीर लिजियेगा क्या ? मेरा मन गद -गद हो गया l ऐसा लगा साक्षात् आरा वाली माता अरण्य देवी मेरे सामने आ गयीं l मेरे मुख से सहसा निकल गया कि जी ..जरूर...l #विरासत के प्रति बचपन से हीं इस बालरूपी देवी का स्नेह देखकर मैं आश्चर्यचकित था l इसे कहते हैं विरासत प्रेम ! -

#बिहार #इंटरमीडिएट #परीक्षा 2023 के परिणाम घोषित कर दिए गए हैं। विज्ञान संकाय में खगड़िया की आयुषी नंदन ने राज्य में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया है। आयुषी को 94.8 प्रतिशत अंक मिले हैं। वह आरएल कॉलेज की छात्रा है।

नालंदा के हिमांशु कुमार और औरंगाबाद के शुभम चौरसिया दोनों द्वितीय स्थान पर हैं। तीसरे स्थान पर सारण की अदिति कुमारी हैं।

सभी उत्तीर्ण विद्यार्थियों को बधाई और उज्ज्वल भविष्य की शुभकामनाएँ !!

पटना में भिखना पहाड़ी नामक मुहल्ला है। भिखना पहाड़ी का निर्माण सम्राट अशोक ने कराया था। इसी पहाड़ी पर अशोक के पुत्र महेंद्र रहते थे।

19 वीं सदी के आखिरी दशक में लाॅरेंस वाडेल ने भिखना पहाड़ी की जाँच की थी। उन्होंने लिखा है कि भिखना पहाड़ी 40 फीट ऊँची और 1 मील के घेरे में है।

भिखना पहाड़ी पर मठ है। मठ में मूर्ति है। मूर्ति का नाम भिखना कुँवर है, जिसकी पूजा होती है।

भिखना कुँवर दरअसल भिक्खु कुमार हैं और भिक्खु कुमार वास्तव में कुमार महेंद्र हैं। वहीं महेंद्र जो सम्राट अशोक के पुत्र थे।

आज सर्वोदय नेता एवं #भूदान_आंदोलन के प्रणेता भारत रत्न बिनोबाभावे जी का जन्मदिन जयंती है। उनका जन्म 11 सितंबर,1895 में हुआ था। इन्होंने भूदान आंदोलन चलाया था ताकि सभी को जमीन मिल सके। मैंने भी बचपन में उन्हें निकट से देखा था। उज्जैन क्षेत्र में मेरे पिताजी ने भूदान आंदोलन के अंतर्गत बिनोबा भावे जी का सहयोग किया। वे भूदान आंदोलन जयंती समिति के मंत्री थे। महत्वपूर्ण रेकार्ड्स अवलोकन हेतु प्रस्तुत है। बिनोबा भावे जी की स्मृति को सादर नमन।

An old photograph of "Dancing Ganesha" from Birpur, Begusarai, .

In 1958, while reclaiming an old tank people came across valuable historical relics and religious idols of exquisite craftsmanship said to belong to the Pala period.

The important finds included Nandi - 4.5 feet in length and 2.5 feet in height (in sitting posture), dancing Ganesh on his vahana rat, three images of Vishnu, Kirtimukh, Narsingh, and Navagraha, all in polished blackstone. After that images of Lokeshwara, Kali and Nava Durga were found in and around the place from beneath the earth.

About the talk:

History of Goa dates from the Palaeolithic times. Speaker intends to highlight caves, tunnels and the petroglyphs found on the banks of the Kushawati river provide a testimony to her chequered antiquity.
Kushawati, Zuari, Mhadei or Mandovi river valley cultures and the sites found along their banks take us on a journey through the portals of our ancient times. The Gaunkari system set up by the tribals of the neolithic age to the advent of her dynastic phase is a case in point that
enriches us the regal era provided by Goa’s ancient Kings and dynasties through the auspices of the Bhojas, the Konkan Mauryas, the Badami Chalukyas, the Shilaharas upto the advent of the Kadambas in the mid 10th century leaving the imprints of a rich and varied cultural heritage and historical heritage. This lecture will focus on the journey of human culture of Goa from early to mid 10th century CE.
