This is also an attempt to bring into focus the state of the Indian environment, and what needs to be done to correct the wrongs. We will look at India’s great rivers in the north, i.e. Ganga and Yamuna, the flora and fauna along the banks of their run. Much has been said, but there is a lot that is still unsaid. The reasons are a lack of awareness and a lack of ability to bring these matters to t
he forefront. It will also serve as an effort to help spread a sustainable approach to living in general, and specifically; around areas that are environmentally sensitive. Man’s greed has been responsible for much of the damage being done to the Earth. A sustainable lifestyle has given way to one of aggrandizement of the self and the search for luxury. All this has also been done in the guise of modernization. We at WildLine Eco Trails are of the firm belief that it is never too late to undo damage that we have heaped on Mother Earth. Correction, or at least acknowledgement and efforts; will help rectify the wrongs. It should be a collective effort to stem the damage and leave a bright future for the generations to come. Let the future not be able to say that we were weak, and too involved in furthering our immediate and selfish wants to think of our coming generations. At WildLine Eco Trails you will be part of a number of journeys into the Himalayas across Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and other eco-sensitive locations in South India including the Nilgiris. Revel in the breathtaking magnificence of the greatest mountain range on our planet; trek across mysterious peaks, travel down roads less travelled and get away from the urban jungle. Stay amongst the locals in villages and be a part of untouched nature.
