HISTORY OF THE TOWN

           Zamin Uthukuli Town Panchayat was constituted as Panchayat with effect from 1949 and  it is upgraded as First Grade Town Panchayat with effect from 1.4.1953 .

Zamin Uthukuli Town Panchayat is situated near by Pollachi Municipality and Ambarampalayam Village The distance from Zamin Uthukuli to Pollachi is   3 Kms and Coimbatore is 43 Kms. The population of the town is 16354 as per 2011 census and the area of the town is 8 Sq.Km.

            The Town Panchayat is divided into 15 wards.

1.1              PRELUDE OF THE TOWN

                     Zamin Uthukuli  is on  the  State  High ways  connecting  Pollachi Road.  The Zamin Palace  is  one of  the  very  famous  Ancient Building  in  this  Town  Panchayat  Area. 

                     Zamin Uthukuli Town Panchayat is  comprised of  with  5  villages. Zamin Uthukuli  Town  Panchayat  has  16354 people  (  as per  2011 census).  Their  surrounding  villages  has  more than 1,00,000 people.

      CLIMATE

                     Zamin Uthukuli climate  is  also neither  too  hot  nor  too  cool  but  always  moderate  really  it  is  great .
