5 Best Treks To Take In Maharashtra

Trekking in Maharashtra during Monsoon is pure bliss. The treacherous terrains, an abundance of flora and fauna make the challenging treks scenic. So if you are planning to go for monsoon treks before the rain bids us adieu, then here 5-treks that are perfect for you. 🥰

1. Harihar Fort Nashik: Harihar Fort is one sumptuous man-made high-rise, which is nestled 48 km away from Igatpuri in Maharashtra's Nashik district. An ideal getaway for wild adventurers, the fort, with its 80 degrees slope, delivers on all counts. The climb was fraught with danger and challenges, calls for the physical strength of the finest kind.

2. Kondana Caves: Kondana Caves Trek starts from Karjat, and with an abundance of flora and stunning waterfalls, this trek is my favorite. The difficulty level of the trek is easy to moderate, but the jungle pathways and waterfalls make up for it.

3.Rajmachi Fort Trail: Get ready to be lost in the scenic beauty while hiking to Rajmachi Fort. The route starts from the Udhewadi village, and the route is not too difficult to tread through.

4. Garbett Point Trail: Experience man VS wild in this trek as you pass through narrow rocky crossings and steep slopes. However, the six-hour-long hike is challenging but is doable and fun.

5. Korigad Trek: One of the easiest treks in Maharashtra, this trek gives you a spellbinding view of Mulshi lake. The first part of the trek takes you through a densely vegetated terrain, and the second is simpler due to the presence of well-cemented steps.
