Do you know of Balasinor?Mostly known as India's Jurassic park....... This relatively unknown destination is in the state of Gujrat. In 1981, paleontologists discovered some dinosaur fossils here, and over the years have uncovered fossils of over 10,000 dinosaur eggs, making Balasinor the third largest dinosaur hatchery in the world. It is also the only site in the world where tourists are actually allowed to touch the fossils.

Keith Bellows, VP - National Geographic Society : "There are some parts of the world that, once visited, get into your heart and won’t go. For me, India is such a place. When I first visited, I was stunned by the richness of the land, by its lush beauty and exotic architecture, by its ability to overload the senses with the pure, concentrated intensity of its colors, smells, tastes, and sounds... I had been seeing the world in black & white and, when brought face-to-face with India, experienced everything re-rendered in brilliant technicolor."

Today,we bring you a quote on Kumbh Mela which is considered to be the world's largest gathering of people.According to the officials, this year's Kumbh Mela attracted around 120 million people to visit the Kumbh.
Today,we share a quote by Mark Tully on Kumbh Mela,"Irrespective at the Kumbh Mela, I was struck by the enormous tolerance of the Indian people,” Tully said. “This is something which has consistently struck me ever since I have lived in this country. The tolerance of hardship of the pilgrims who went there, many of them walking barefoot, carrying their luggage on their heads, having nowhere to sleep at night, except on straw out in the open. But it is not just their tolerance of harsh conditions, it is also their tolerance of each other, because at the Kumbh Mela there are heaven knows how many different forms of Hinduism being preached.” He said.

This quote is by Deepak Chopra,
"We're living in a time when the world has suddenly discovered India because it's run out of raw material for its imagination. The raw materials for imagination are inexhaustible here."

We would like to share some of the famous quotes on India and its culture...by some of the famous people around the world.
