When one of the gravest calamities in a century struck Gods Own Country, we got frantic calls from people across asking for help. We realized soon that many of our brothers and sisters were stuck in flooded areas with no access to drinking water, food and other essentials. Thanks to many of the kind minds in various NGOs we partnered with, we were able to do our little bit and help reach essentials including medicines to places that were otherwise inaccessible and evacuate people who were isolated and stuck to safety.

It was a long week for team HeliTaxii, one that was filled with so many unknowns but the spirit of good will and determination kept us going. We are with the people who lost their family, houses and we hope and pray that Kerala rises back soon.

As someone rightly said "We went looking for victims, all we found were heroes". Big Salute to all such heroes whose names and faces might be unknown but with hearts of pure gold.
