Gon - Nila - P**k Cave Temple is a series of Caves with Wall Paintings from 13th Century, situated in the Mountain behind Saspol village, around 76km from Leh city, on the Leh - Srinagar Highway.
Exploring the ancient Buddhist caves in Saspol village, Ladakh, is like stepping back in time into a realm of spiritual sanctity and architectural marvels. Here's a glimpse into this hidden gem of Ladakh:

🌳Incredibly social by nature, they live in groups of 6 to 10, constantly communicating with each other. Their noisy 'babble' is where they get their name!

Does this look like a Honeymoon Trip ?! Well for most of Us Honeymoon trip is all about Romance, Relaxation & bit of Luxury. But for Me & my Wife there was no better Honeymoon destination than Ladakh. And we took the whole 2 months to travel across Ladakh. Exploring every bit of it, feeling it &relieving it.

Coming in & out of Ladakh & exploring these beautiful lands since 2016-2017 . Tried all the available modes of Transports - be it Delhi - Leh Flight or a Road Journey via Mavali Leh Highway by a Car & Riding a Motorcycle. Usually Manali - Leh road journey a distance of 480km is done in 2 days. First day Manali - Sarchu & 2nd Day Sarchu - Leh. So i wanted to push myself a little bit by trying to do this 480km in one day.
Now you might be thinking Delhi - Manali or Mumbai - Goa is 580km so what ?!
Now let me tell you where the twist is :-
✅Manali - Leh Highway crosses through 5 high mountain Passes.
👉Rohtang La 3980mtr. ** Don't have to cross thanks to Atal Tunnel NAMO 🙏
👉Baralacha La 4850 mtr.
👉Nakee La 4738 mtr.
👉Lachung La 5059 mtr.
👉Tanglang La 5328 mtr.
Having Said that the average elevation of the whole road journey is 4200mtr making it the Highest Highway of the World.
This journey is a hell march at the same time scenic beauty so hypnotic that one would not even blink.

👉 The most important thing how i manage to do this without getting Sick or getting Headache or Nausea ?!
Here is the quick answer :-
✅Do not rely on Diamox or chemicals - Chew 3-4 cloves of Garlic a day while on the Road
✅Drink 3 ltrs of water everyday through out the year
✅Drink Black Tea with Lime & little Suger while on the Road
✅Avoid Milk products, avoid Chips or Junk Food
✅Practise Paranayam every day
✅Avoid Smoking & Drinking while on the Road
✅ Don't get overwhelmed by the Sheerness & rugged beauty of the high mountain passes and stay there for long, max 15min
✅ Most importantly Ladakh is not Mt. Everest anyone can come here, just don't panic in small situation.

👉 LADAKH IS NOT YOUR PERSONAL GARBAGE BIN SO KEEP YOUR GARBAGES WITH YOU, BEHAVE LIKE A HUMAN NOT LIKE A MONKEY WHERE EVER YOU GO 🙏🙏
