What is the best thing that I love about my work? – I am into film making so the best thing about my work is telling a story through visual metaphor. The real magic happens between “Action” and “Cut” of a scene and that is the purest form of storytelling which is very close to my heart.
What is my idea of perfect happiness? – My entire life revolves around my passion i.e. film making. So I find pure bliss whenever I am involved in any kind of creative process. The adrenaline rush of creating something is like a healthy drug to me.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? – The happiest day in my work was when I had got a chance to shoot in Manila, Philippines. It was my first international shoot and I was very excited about it, especially as the crew was localities. Although there was linguistic barrier between us but still managed to shoot a pretty good film.
What is my greatest achievement in work? – When I came to this film making industry, I had no god father and people having a good professional background, always try to stop me from growing. I knew it will be an uphill battle. But after facing many challenges, I managed to setup my own film production firm- KRACTION FILMS PRODUCTION with zero capital. I didn’t have enough money to find an office space or hire someone to build my firm’s website or even do some business development. I taught myself everything and started cold calling to prospective from my rented flat only. Now 4 years later my company’s turnover is above 10 Lakh. I am really grateful to all the struggles and criticism I faced back then.
