A sports initiative started by Teach for India fellows in 2013, Khel Khel Mein Foundation aims to bring competitive sport to children studying at low-income schools in Delhi. Physical education is so crucial for the development of any child, yet most of our schools are unable to provide any form of extracurricular development for the students. Our team believes that every child deserves the opport

unity to experience the joy and passion sport brings in our lives. We want to empower our children to use the strength of sport to build teamwork, leadership and unity in their schools and communities. Khel Khel Mein's mission is to ensure that our students PLAY.

Ruchi (17) and Saloni (19) recently represented Delhi in the Senior Nationals Women's Football Championship at Bhilai.

Ruchi's splendid performance in her 3rd National Championship with 4 goals (joint top scorer for Delhi) and 1assist was pivotal in qualification to next round.

At this juncture, 8 out of 25 girls from our Sangam Vihar football squad have represented Delhi over last 4 years across age groups. (with 2 of them Raziya and Ruchi representing thrice)

It was a proud moment for us witnessing them grow in their career. Wishing greater success in the upcoming final rounds of the Championship.

Our 3rd edition of the Mohalla Tournament at Sangam Vihar community was successfully conducted across two weekends witnessing 75 children participating in U9 & U11 aged categories.

Its a platform to build community connect through sports, raise interest about the game & kickstart enrollments for the season ahead.

The best part of this tournament have been that its organized by our existing senior players (15-17 yrs old) to build the next squad (U13 & U11) .

From outreach to designing creatives, officiating to scoring & logistics , all managed by them

Christmas eve was indeed a special one this year for our players as they celebrated the evening at Hira Lal Kundan Lal Memorial Trust.

It was a fun filled evening with games, surprise gifts & Christmas cake!!

We are sincerely thankful to the Foundation & Lakshya Vij for creating the beautiful experience for KKM players.

We look forward to the association in the coming years..
