There is a very beautiful episode in Ramayana which gives us a very deep lesson in the present perspective...
When Hanuman ji was crossing the sea, a demon named Sursa started challenging him to eat him. Hanuman ji was crossing the sea in a small form. Immediately Hanuman ji increased his size so that Sursa could not devour him. Sursa opened a bigger mouth, Hanuman ji assumed a bigger body to escape from him. Sursa made a bigger face than that.
Hanuman ji requested him to let him go now as he was going for very important work. When Sursa did not agree, he assumed a very small form and entered his mouth and immediately came out.
Sursa appeared in her real form and blessed him that he has a lot of discretion along with strength, so he will get success in his purpose.
The obstacle called Sursa Suffering, difficulty or examination comes in the life of all of us.
There are two types of people in this world- There are very few people who have a high spiritual aim in life. Secondly, those who respect their position, Values are limited to respect, home, family and wealth accumulation.
Whenever a person walks on a high goal, there are many obstacles called Sursa in his life. Such people keep bumping into him who try to block his way in vain. In such a situation, a person has two ways, either keep wasting his energy in clashing with the other ego, or keep the other's ego big and go out of there by becoming small.
If we keep clashing with the ego of others, then a large part of our energy and time will be wasted in this confusion. Sometimes it happens that the goal with which we had walked is left behind and the feeling of mutual conflict and revenge on each other keeps on dominating our heart and mind.
If we take any lesson from this episode of Hanuman ji, then it is that for your goal, even if you become smaller than others, then there is wisdom in that. Sometimes the essence of life lies in leaving others to their ego.
Jai Shree Ram Jai Veer Hanuman 🙏
