Unwind Holidays is about to launch a new business vertical Travel Exchange from 1st September 2023. Travel Exchange is a travel facilitating company that offers exciting travel benefits to its Members only. In most cases, the Lodging & Food is free for the member and her/his partner/spouse; the pick-up & drop-off from the nearest Rail/Air head is free and most often the Sight-seeing Trips, if not entirely free, is largely subsidized. The membership comes with a Gift Hamper along with a Membership Card that reaches the registered address of a member within 30 days of joining. There is a 4 month lock-in period from the day of joining, during which one can plan and confirm their bookings. This lock-in is for the people joining for the first time and will not be applicable for the subsequent renewals. Every subsequent renewal will be accompanied by another Gift Hamper. All members are entitled to a 5 day holiday in a year – This may be broken into two trips of 3 days plus 2 days.

We are offering four categories of Memberships for individual Members, the memberships start as low as Rs. 6000.00 + GST and can go upto Rs.12,000.00 + GST.

This is a limited period offer for our selected Traveler friends and patrons. While Unwind Holidays is known for its Hospitality in Himalaya Offbeat locations, this offer is open to Travelers across India. Our website www.travelexchange.in is under construction and should be up with destination and property listings shortly. A mobile App is also being developed for Members’ convenience.

Dear Patron/Traveler:

Your very own Travel Planner Unwind Holidays has two new Homestays at Kalimpong, West Bengal. This mail is to inform you about them.

About three kilometers from Rishyap, the Maria Village (named after St. Maria’s Church, started by a French evangelist in 1891) lies within the Paktam Forest. Unwind’s new Homestay Villa Maria has started its journey. The two storied property, is located on the quaint Rishyap – Kagey Road in a serene environment. The view of the snowline, both from the Road as well as from the Terrace is breathtaking. Rooms are carpeted, well decorated with running hot & cold water, fitted with LCD TV and heating system on demand.

More towards the city of Kalimpong, high above the Cinchona Plantations, within the Eechhay Forest, lies a small village called Eechhaygaon. The topmost Homestay here is the Hilltop. The view of the snowline from the Viewpoint, or the view of the Forest from the Cottages is awesome. . Rooms are carpeted, well decorated with running hot & cold water, fitted with LCD TV and heating system on demand. The day passes here in deep procrastination and is usually signed off by a brilliant sunset.

As usual, Unwind’s Homestays are famous for its food. Breakfast is usually Continental, followed by a lunch, where the Katla Maacher Kalia at that high an altitude is a wonder. The evening snack is rather sumptuous followed by a dinner of Roti, Kosha Aloo and Chicken Kosha served on fine crockery and with fine cutlery in well curated dining halls. Both the Homestays have 24 hour power back-up and as a principle uses clean White Bed Linen only.

Cost of Stay in Hilltop, Eechhaygaon is Rs 1600/- per person per day for triple or four sharing basis. Any couple staying in a four bedded room would be charged Rs.1800/- per person per day.

Cost of stay in Villa Maria is Rs. 1800/- per person per day in Deluxe (4 bedded Room) and Rs.1600/- for Standard (3 bedded Room). Couple occupying Deluxe Room would be charged Rs.2250/- per person per day.

What Unwind does not do are [1] serves no food in the room, staining of Linen & Carpets being a problem; [2] though not rigid, overnighters are discouraged during peak season and [3] all men’s group are strictly out of bounds.
