The Bold Deers at Kanha.
Usually Deers are Shy and will run if you get close to 3mtrs. But Deers at Kanha are so used to the movement of Gypsies and Tourists, they will not move an inch even if you get a handful distance near them.

** Spotted Deer AKA - Cheetal **
Location : Satpura Tiger reserve, MP

Males sporting hard antlers dominate over those in velvet or those without antlers, irrespective of their size and other factors.

During the initial growth of antlers, soft velvety skin is found covering them. These contain blood vessels which supply nutrients and minerals for their growth. Once this h***y structure hardens, deer tend to rub them against branches of trees to remove the velvet.
