Our Story

Temporary Local has been a very special venture for its co-founders, since it not only gave them an opportunity to fulfill their professional aspirations, but also became the reason for their togetherness. Moreover it helped them explore the dimensions of a travel based venture with their own passion for travelling and adventure. Let’s get a glimpse of the brains behind this awesome venture.

Sushant, a travel enthusiast and entrepreneur, has always followed a methodological approach in his professional pursuits. Sakshi, on other hand has always adopted unconventional ways to achieve her life goals. Although both hail from diverse backgrounds, love for travel brought these two passionate entrepreneurs together.

A pleasant morning in the woods of lower Himalayas, where Sushant was preparing himself for a trek to Goecha La Pass in Sikkim, he met Sakshi in his group. It all started with a discussion during the trek where they both were admiring the beauty of Kanchenjunga peak from Goecha La Pass. Having talked out their objectives and expectations about life, both of them discovered their similar interests in traveling, adventure, and entrepreneurship.

After the trek, they started to meet each other frequently and explore their personal goals for life, which became the basis of beginning of this venture. Sushant was already on a hunt for an enthusiastic business partner who can handle the marketing aspect of his business, while Sakshi had been looking for a strategist and someone proficient in finance who can put together a great business strategy.
