Phuket, the largest island of Thailand (in Andaman sea, South of Bangkok, 1h30m flight). It has an International airport as well.
It has Chinese cultural influence due to migrants who came here during tin mining, a century back. It's a Province.
December to March, is less rainy and many visit this time for natural beauty, fun, relaxing:
* beaches (some less crowded), boat rides (full-day island hopping), corals & marine life (diving sites)
* nightlife, local food, glamour (Thai Govt. is also considering opening 5 casinos across the country and extending official time for nightlife)
* Old Phuket Town with a century old heritage (museums, antique shops, restaurants, famous flower street "Soi Romanee" etc.) and food on the Sunday flea market here.
* viewing points & architecturally, culturally rich temples,
* some witness their national sport "Muya Thai" -boxing and
* more (like fun parks, theme shows, hikes etc.)
Accommodations for almost all budgets though, as of now, we suggest take branded ones for better experience.
Transport mode is mainly drive (mini vans in organized package else 'Grab' app based taxi or metered taxi). Being an island, a popular one and with a mountain range (North to South), traffic is slow especially in evenings.
Four nights / five days could pack some highlights @ Rs. 140,000 per person (USD 1700 approx.) for two couples travelling together /sharing a minivan, two rooms with daily breakfast at a basic 4-star near Patong beach (but, non-branded hotel), entry fee / ferry rides for 4 people for key places (Phi Phi Island with lunch, James Bond Island with lunch, FantaSea show with dinner, Dolphin show, Tiger Kingdom & Simon cabaret, full day Phuket city tour and airport transfers).
Air-tickets are additional. Visa is free for Indians & Taiwan till 10 May 2024.
We customize, as per the traveller's need. It is not fixed package. Can add visit to Karabi (3 hr drive or around 1h30m boat ride) or Bangkok or Koh Samui etc.
Hope this information has been helpful. Many thanks for your time.
