Lisbon calling!!!!
Strolling through the Pink Street in Baixa is precisely what it sounds like: an entire street painted pink that also features a scenic bridge in the background and cobblestone sidewalks.
History says Rua Nova do Carvalho (Pink street) was the place to be, as there were gambling dens, brothels, and seedy bars named after other port cities.
To make the place feel better the road was painted in 2011 making it locally known as Rua Cor de Rosa, meaning Pink Street.
Now you shall find this street filled with eateriers, pubs and great bars and is a must visit if you are in Lisbon.
