Everyone in the land of Gods & demi-Gods are extremely concerned with their exceptionally treacherous/fragile geographic/ topographic terrain being unscientifically tinkered with, in the name of ROAD WIDENING (by digging the precipitous slopes already having high natural PROCLIVITY/PRONENESS /PREDILECTION/POTENTIAL/TENDENCY for LAND SLIDES) & a disconcerting number of ongoing or myopically proposed hydroelectric projects (potential TIME BOMBS) to fill the COFFERS of the vested interests, pushing the voiceless/helpless locals towards the COFFINS! These self defeating activities, virtually tantamounts to raping of our nurturing mothernature/motherland by the unscrupulous vested interests/those faceless wolves in sheep's clothing !😪.
🗻 Here is a video showing one of such frequent LANDSLIDES (this one near Purbani JULA/ROPEWAY) in KINNAUR causing road block. Moreover, such kind of not well thought out, ongoing/planned, so called developmental activities in this strategically important region are perennially devastating the mother nature & jeopardizing the lives by posing an ever looming threat to the commuters & the adjoining villages.
*☝️We have certain moot 'points'/'burning questions' calling or rather CRYING for urgent answers/actions from those concerned & affected, like :-
(1) Will this mad exploitation of the holy land of Gods & demi-Gods ever stop!?
(2) Shall we continue uttering the oft repeated refrain of helplessness or remain silent spectators like this for ever !?
(3) Isn't this the right time to come out of our self-centered holes (KYA YE HAMARE KHOLE SE BAHAR AANE KA SAHI VAKT NAHI HAI!?) by shedding the universally prevailing attitude of supreme lack of concern/lack of time etc (INDIA ME SAB CHALTA HAI) for minding/sensitizing ourselves, about the things happening around us, threatening the very survival of not only the present but also that of future generations.

One of the most devastating aftermaths of inordinate SNOWFALLS in hilly areas is the ever looming threat of AVALANCHES (wrongly called Glaciers) & the destruction they inflict on the hapless commuters & the people residing in their vicinity.

The God has been too generous this year 2019 in showering us with a spate of heavy snow falls in KINNAUR, HP. As a usual sequel to this unprecedented snowfalls there are so many discomfort & difficulties to the local residents due to the disruption of many essential services like road transportation, electricity & water supplies to these areas.
🏔️📺 Here is a Vedio of an interesting reporting by a courageous citizen Mr. Ashok Negi, Spillow; of one of the such sequels of heavy snow falls, ie, an AVALANCHE in PYALA NALAH, Sonathang, just below the village JANGI (7-8 Kilometers from SPILLOW village on NH-5) tehsil MOORANG, KINNAUR, HIMACHAL PRADESH.

This vedio is an aerial view the 'SANGLA VALLEY' ; it begins with camra panning over the DIVINE GATEWAY to KINNAUR the 'TARANDA MATA TEMPLE' , further showing a COMMUNITY KITCHEN cooking CHAPATIS(flattened round shape breads) made out of the wheat flour dough; proceeding further to show the mesmerizing views of the vast expanse of idyllic SANGLA VALLEY with FULLY blooming fields of OGALA/ FAFRA CROPS & the famous APPLE ORCHARDS alongwith the serpentine course of the RIVER BASPA; there is no dearth of the sublime meadows & SALUBRIOUS SYLVITIC forest over the dramatic rise and fall of the MAJESTIC MOUNTAINS; this vedio also shows the various backpackers/trekkers from FOREIGN COUNTRIES walking through the GOLDEN YELLOW FIELDS (showing the local ladies busy in harvesting crops/cutting grass) mingling with the locals to observe and enjoy the FESTIVITIES as shown in the FAIR/FESTIVAL with their village DEITIES along with their KARDHAARS (assigned specific ritual or duty) performing ESOTERIC RITES/CUSTOMS etc; people performing COMMUNITY FOLK DANCE to the tunes of TRADITIONAL MUSIC BANDS(BAJANTARIES) .
Here comes the season's (10-12-2018) second spell of spell-binding scenes of snow fall in beautiful Sangla Valley including the whole KINNAUR.
