करछम ते सांगला...एक अविस्मरणीय अनुभव..

भाग १ - दिल्ली ते चंदीगड

हल्ली मोटारसायकल🏍️ ट्रीप बद्दल फारच ऐकायला वाचायला मिळते. अनेक रायडर्स पॅशन म्हणून बाईक ट्रीपला जातात. आम्ही अमुक तासात अमुक किलोमीटर ड्रायव्हिंग केले ह्यात ते खूप खुश होतात...अर्थात टार्गेट अचिव्ह झाल्यावर कोणालाही आनंद तर होणारच...
पण आनंदाच्या व्याख्या किती बदलल्या आहेत ना हल्ली ? रायडर्स आपली ड्रायव्हिंग स्किल्स आजमावण्यासाठी हजारो किलोमीटर प्रवास करतात. पण खरंच जो आनंद अपेक्षित आहे तो मिळतो का ? ह्या प्रवासाने तुमच्या आयुष्यात थोडा तरी बदल होतो का ? हा हजारो किलोमीटरचा प्रवास तुम्हाला काय काय शिकवून जातो किंवा तुम्ही त्यातून काय शिकता हे तितकंच महत्त्वाचं आहे ना ? हे आत्मपरीक्षण किती जण करतात ?

आम्ही जेव्हा बाईक ट्रीप किंवा मोटरसायकल ट्रीपला जातो तेव्हा आम्हाला खूप रायडर्स भेटतात. पण त्यांना त्या प्रदेशाला प्रकृती मातेचा जो वरदहस्त मिळालेला आहे त्याचा आनंद, अनुभव घ्यायला सुध्धा वेळ नसतो. कारण आपलं पूर्ण आयुष्याचं टार्गेट मय झालंय ना ? तसच त्यांनीही स्वतः ला रोजच्या किलोमीटर च टार्गेट दिलेलं असतं. मग काय तेवढे किलोमीटर झाले की घेतला स्टे. मग पुढच्या टार्गेट कडे वाटचाल. असे करत करत त्यांची ट्रीपच संपून जाते. आणि ते पुन्हा आयुष्यातली टार्गेट पूर्ण करायच्या कोलुला जुंपले जातात. काय करणार... पोटासाठी करावच लागतं..त्यांच्यासाठी मोटरसायकल ट्रीप म्हणजे आपण नेहमीच्या कामापेक्षा वेगळं काहीतरी करून दाखवलं..!! हाच काय तो आनंद...असो..

तर आम्ही २०११ डिसेंबर मध्ये एक 🏍️ ट्रीप केली. आमच्याच बाईक ने. Bajaj Discover ने. मुंबईपासून बाईक चालवत नेण्याऐवढे पॅशन कदाचित आमच्यात नव्हते. म्हणून आम्ही आमची बाईक ट्रेन मध्ये लोड केली आणि मुंबई ते दिल्ली असा रेल्वे प्रवास करून तिथून बाईक वर पुढच्या मार्गाला लागलो. बाईकचे स्टिअरिंग अर्थातच माझ्या नवऱ्याच्या हातात होत. आणि पुढे आमची ८ वर्षांची कन्या आणि मागे मी, असा झाला आमचा प्रवास सुरू. आणि हो... आम्ही तिघेच नव्हतो बरं...अजून एक व्यक्तीही आमच्यासोबत होती. मुलगा की मुलगी हे तेव्हा माहित नव्हतं 😃 कारण ती ३ महिन्याची पोटात होती...😃 ह्यावरून मी आईची, भावाची आणि सगळ्यांचीच इतकी बोलणी खाल्ली होती म्हणून सांगू..!! पण हौसेला पर्याय नसतो ना ? आणि एक traveller म्हणून ह्या शारीरिक अवस्थेच्या बेड्या करणं हेच मुळात मला मान्य नव्हतं. त्यामुळे ३ महिन्याची प्रेगनन्सी असताना बाईक ट्रीप करावी की नाही हा प्रश्नच मला पडला नाही.

दिल्लीला आल्यावर आमचे पहिलेच कठीण टार्गेट आमच्या समोर आले. ते म्हणजे पेट्रोल. बाईक जेव्हा आपण ट्रेन मध्ये लोड करतो तेव्हा त्यातले पूर्ण पेट्रोल काढून टाकतात. आणि दिल्लीला बाटलीत पेट्रोल द्यायचा रिवाज कधीच बंद झाला होता. त्यामुळे बाईकला ढकलत नेण्याशिवाय दुसरा कोणताच पर्याय नव्हता. पार्सल ऑफिस मधल्या लोकांना विचारलं तर म्हणाले " ये क्या इधर हे पास मे. बस दो मिनिट पे " पण तिथल्या लोकांचे दो मिनिट म्हणजे आपले चांगले १० / १५ मिनिट बरं का ? 😀 तर आमची ढक्कल गाडी सुरू झाली. १०/१५ मिनिट रस्त्याच्या कडेकडेने चालल्यावर पेट्रोल पंपाचे दर्शन आम्हास घडले आणि आमच्या आनंदाला पारावर राहिला नाही. पेट्रोल भरून साधारण संध्याकाळी ४ च्या सुमारास आम्ही चंदीगड कडे कूच केले. उत्तर प्रदेश क्रॉस करून पंजाब मध्ये एंट्री केली आणि भूक लागल्याची जाणीव व्हायला लागली. मुळात बाईक ट्रीपला आम्ही दिवसा जास्त काही खात नाही पण ह्या ट्रिपच्या वेळी तो नियम माझ्यासाठी नव्हता अणि आमची कन्याही लहान होती त्यामुळे आम्ही नाश्ता करायला थांबलो. मस्तपैकी गरमागरम आलू पराठा आणि त्यावर पांढरा शुभ्र लोण्याचा गोळा असा दमदार नाश्ता करून आम्ही पुढे निघालो. आम्हाला कुठेच घाई करायची नव्हती तर मनमुराद आनंद घ्यायचा होता. त्यामुळे आम्हाला रात्री थोडा उशीरच झाला चंदीगड ला पोहोचायला. हायवे असल्यामुळे आम्ही रात्रीचा प्रवास केला. नाहीतर बाईक ट्रिपचा आमचा अजून एक नियम म्हणजे पहाटे प्रवास सुरू करून संध्याकाळी ५/६ वाजता प्रवास बंद. आम्हाला चंदीगड ला पोहोचायला रात्रीचे १२ वाजले. विशेष सांगायची गोष्ट म्हणजे रात्री १२ वाजता सुद्धा चंदीगड शहरात सिग्नलला लोक गाड्या थांबवत होते, समोर कोणतीही गाडी नसतानाही ही विशेष कौतुकाची बाब आम्हाला वाटली. अखेर आम्ही सुखरुप हॉटेलला पोहोचलो.
