مسجد المصلى - الغمامة

ALMUSALLA MOSQUE - ALGHAMAMA

هو آخر المواضع التي صلى فيها النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم العيدين والاستسقاء . كما صلى فيه الخليفة الراشد عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه في خلافته.

وعرف هذا المسجد بالمصلى وتطلق عليه وعلى المنطقة المحيطة به. ويعتبر حد سوق المدينة في العهد النبوي.

ويعود تاريخ بنائه إلى القرن الأول الهجري ضمن المساجد والمصليات التي بناها عمر بن عبد العزيز عندما كان أميرا على المدينة المنورة وقد حظي المسجد بعناية المسلمين عبر العصور ولقي عناية واهتمام في العهد السعودي الزاهر ويتميز بطراز معماري بديع.
