All through this winter I was bundled up in and it was a “brrrr”illiant winter!🥶🥶❤️❤️ We went down to -2 degrees and I was still quite comfortable!! 😍
Layering is key!! It’s actually not about how many layers you put on but about the quality of those layers. And this is the best way to do it, as I’ve learnt -
1. Good quality thermals- top and leggings. I have the Kosha Bamboo thermals. These are soft, super warm and really light weight. They trap in the warmth and keep you toasty!
2. Warm polo neck - Again very important. The Kosha ones are light and very warm.
3. Socks - Can’t stress enough on good quality socks. For me personally, if my feet are warm, the rest of my body stays warm. They also reduce chances of blisters, smelly feet and cramping toes.
4. A warm jacket or trench- Again, go for something that’s lightweight. It makes it much easier to move around. If it’s too bulky it’s annoying! I also love this particular one cuz it has a faux fur hoodie that keeps my ears warm. My brother carried a trench coat from Kosha which was again very warm and light weight. It also looked really cool. He said he felt like Sherlock Holmes in it. 🤓
5. Gloves - I have the waterproof ones that also have touch screen pads cuz I shoot a lot. But Kosha also has cute Christmas gloves!
6. Shoes - You can either go for snow shoes or hardcore trekking shoes. I prefer trekking shoes cuz they’re multi purpose and this way I can carry only one pair.
7. Ear muffs - This is something I’ve recently bought and haven’t used yet so not sure how I feel about it but I have heard good things and I’ll keep you guys posted!!
