Established by the United Nations in 1974, this day encourages worldwide activism, from grassroots community initiatives to large-scale governmental policies.

By focusing on specific themes of The World Environment Day, all villagers of Umru ii village - Home of Amur Falcon, did their efforts to protect and preserve our planet for future generations.

We are very very Thankful to “Indian Tourism, Guwahati” for this initiative.
