Posted @withregram • @kelly_uttrakhand उत्तराखंड में यह पर्व खास स्वरूप में मनाया जाता है, क्योंकि गंगा का अवतरण इसी क्षेत्र में हुआ था। उत्तराखंड के खास तौर से कुमाऊं क्षेत्र में इस दिन पुरोहितों द्वारा निर्मित 'द्वारपत्र' वज़, निवारक मंत्रों के साथ घरों के मुख्य दरवाजों के ऊपर लगाए जाते हैं।
इसके तहत क्षेत्र में यहां के ब्राह्मणों द्वारा एक वर्गाकार सफेद कागज में विभिन्न रंगों के अन्दर शिव, गणेश, दुर्गा, सरस्वती, गंगा आदि का रंगीन चित्र बनाकर उसके चारों ओर एक वृतीय या बहुवृत्तीय कमलदलों का अंकन किया जाता है जिसमें लाल, पीले, हरे रंग भरे जाते हैं और इसके बाहर वज्रनिवारक पांच ऋषियों के नाम के साथ यह मंत्र लिखे जाते हैं -
अगस्त्यश्च पुलस्त्यश्च वैशम्पायन एव च। जैमिनिश्च सुमन्तुश्च पञ्चैते वज्र वारकाः।।1।।
