An Inclusivity Walk with EnAble India.

We led a Cubbon walk for 45 persons with vision impairment and volunteers from EnAble India. This walk easily ranks at the top of some of the most interesting and first-of-its kind walks we have led at Gully Tours. EnAble India works with persons with disabilities, supporting them from job hunting to getting placed, and undergoing training for upskilling.

As part of their employability training, this walk blended history, nature, and experiential learning. The goal of this walk was to have our guests experience places of leisure while learning about history and nature.

As we explored the colonial side of Bangalore together, their ability to observe, grasp and learn was awe inspiring. It was beautiful to see them enjoy and experience the city with the senses they are blessed with. We learnt so much from them on so many levels. It was really heartwarming to see how despite being a large group, they made it so seamless for us.

Whether it was the stories of the British era or the several flora and fauna of Cubbon Park, we were amazed by their curiosity and joy of discovering new experiences.

We look forward to hosting more such walks and experiences with EnAble India because Bangalore is for everyone, and wish their team good luck for all their exciting endeavours and gigs.
