I recently visited Jaipur and visited this beautiful 9 bedroom estate and just couldn’t believe what I saw.

- this Cafe and boutique hotel in Tosh is on place you should definitely stay at when in Tosh, Parvati Valley- Himachal Pradesh.

It has a garden and a restaurant and is so far the best stay I’ve found in Tosh.

So when in Tosh, kasol or after finishing the Kheerganga Trek this is so far the best place to stay in the entire Tosh village in that circuit😍

I recently came across this 4bhk Villa in Manali. This is just so perfect for a big group or a family trip costing around 16k per night. You can also rent out one single room or as per requirement 😍

This cottage is located 13 kms away from Manali, surrounded by snow-clad Himalayan peaks, dense cedar forests and apple orchards. Best as it’s away from the crowded Manali town!

There are total 4 bedrooms with attached bathrooms with private balconies ideally best for family and group of friends. It also has a private lawn and terrace to bask during breakfast and breezy evenings.

This about 100 mtrs from the NAGGAR CASTLE, right behind the post office, in a quaint little village. It's a rustic village setting with all modern day comforts, along with unlimited cups of herbal tea/ coffee & thousands of stories to share!!

Traditionally done up using local stone n wood, it stays true to the Himachali architecture.

Lovely garden to chill in, vegetables grown in the kitchen garden at the back :)

Rishikesh has been really close to my heart, I’ve been visiting Rishikesh since the past 6 years and it’s never enough. It’s one place I’d want to visit every year and make it an annual ritual.

Happy Diwali 🪔
Diwali symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance"

Diwali today is recognised worldwide today and according to the latest update it’s declared a holiday in NYC too.

There are multiple reasons why Diwali is celebrated in India. Listing down something that’s close to my heart - Hindu Mythological reasons.

In one of the main stories in Hindu mythology, Diwali is the day Lord Rama, his wife Sita Devi and brother Lakshmana return to their homeland after 14 years in exile. The villagers lit a path for Rama, who had defeated the demon king Ravana. Reenactments of this story are part of celebrations in some regions.

Another Diwali story in Hindu mythology is that Diwali marks the day Lord Krishna defeated the demon Narakasura and freed the people of his kingdom. After he slayed the demon, Lord Krishna declared it a day of festivities. In some parts of India, people burn effigies of the demon kings in both stories as part of the celebration.

People also celebrate the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi during Diwali. As the goddess of prosperity, wealth and fertility, the romantic Diwali story says that she chose Lord Vishnu, one of Hinduism’s most important deities, to be her husband on the night of Diwali.

In other cultures, Diwali coincides with harvest and new year celebrations. No matter which Diwali story you celebrate, it’s always a day of new beginnings and light over darkness.

This year has only been about living life at the edge of it.

Just found out this one day cool thing we can do in Vadodara. So recently I visited my cousins during my summer break in Gujarat in Baroda and this is what we did and it just took me back to my childhood days by lake. Abandoned generations ago, the impressive fort was built atop the granite hill, as much to serve as a lookout as to provide an early line of defence against attacks on Jaipur.
