View of Garhwal Himalayas from Surkanda Devi
After Mussoorie, we move further on our Uttarakhand Escape towards Auli , taking a pitstop at Kaddu Khaal and hike 3kms to the top till Surkanda Devi, which is a temple of Goddess Sati. It is a beautiful trek and offers a 360 degrees uninterrupted view of the Garhwal Himalayan range.

P.S. this video was shot in December during our desperate serach for snow which sounds funny now considering the amount of snowfall North India has received in the past few weeks :)

Escape to Mussoorie, Uttarakhand!
Sold to Britishers for INR 1100, Mussoorie used to be a wasteland which grew shurbs knowns as Mansoor.
The village that sold the land off has not changed much, but the sold-off land has become a great tourist attraction.
From mall road to Lal-Tibba to sisters bazaar, Domas cafe, Ladour; which has been house to the elite and char dukaan, there is a story waiting to be unravelled at each corner of Mussoorie.

Route to Spiti via Rohtang, Chandratal and Kunzum
This video offers a visual delight to the route from Manali to Spiti via Rohtang Pass, Pagal Nala, detour towards Chandratal and then Kunzum pass. Tell us your favourite spot from the route and any interesting story that you might have experienced.
For us, rescuing an Innova from the Pagal Nala is a good story as it taught the Innova passengers on how being arrogant and careless at such routes can be a inconvenience for not only you but everyone else on the route.
Thankfully we were able to help and the few hours ordeal with nature ended without anyone facing any major difficulty, it did delay everyone and we reached our first destination very late.

For all our friends who really wanted to visit Ladakh with us this June, but could not make it due to some reasons, here is a little something from Ladakh to lighten up your day.
During this escape, we covered a lot of ground; Delhi - Udhampur - Srinagar - Sonamarg - Kargil - Leh - Nubra - Turtuk - Thang - Diskit - Pangong Tso - Maan - Chushul - Tso Kar - Jispa - Manali - Delhi.
The eventful 12 days which were daunting, haunting but so much fun that there are new realisations every now and then.
From watching Pakistan army bunkers to Rezang La war memorial commemorating the sacrifice of brave 114 soldiers of 13 Kumaon regiment in the 1962 China war. Too much to soak-in.
