Kedartal trek.

Kedartal, at a distance of 17 km from Gangotri, is a popular trekking destination. Starting from Gangotri the route involves a steep rocky climb along the narrow Kedar Ganga gorge en route to Bhojkharak, 8 km away. From there it is 4 km to the next available camping site of Kedarkharak, and a further 5 km to Kedartal. The route passes through scenic Himalayan birch forests, but is made hazardous in places by falling rocks, high altitude and segments of steep ascent.

Kyarkoti is an alpine meadow in Harsil Valley of Uttarakhand. It is a 14km trek from the village Harsil. The trek takes you along the Lamkhaga Pass route that connects to Chitkul in Himachal Pradesh. Walk along alpine forests of Cedar, pine and birch and cross little streams along the way.

Auden’s Col mountain pass is a high altitude mountain pass which is situated in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand connecting Rudugaira valley and Bhilangna valley.

Located in the beautiful Uttarkashi district at an elevation of 5,490 mts, Auden’s Col is one of the least explored treks in Uttarakhand– mainly because of its difficulty. In mountaineering terminology, a col is the lowest point in the ridge between mountains. .
