📍 May 25 - Ontario invited 64 candidates through the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream. Invited candidates held job offers in communities prioritized through the Ontario Regional Immigration Pilot. - May 25

📍 May 25 - Manitoba invited 232 candidates, including 20 Express Entry candidates, to apply to the MPNP through it's three MPNP streams as below;

Skilled Workers in Manitoba— 166 LAAs with a score of at least 415;
Skilled Workers Overseas— 46 LAAs with a score of at least 703; and
International Education Stream— 20 LAAs, no EOI score requirement.

📍 May 18 - Alberta announced the results of a draw on May 18 in which 250 Express Entry candidates were invited with CRS scores as low as 301.

📍 May 25 - Saskatchewan invited 405 candidates from the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand streams of the SINP. Only certain occupations were considered.

📍 May 25 - British Columbia invited 323 candidates to apply for provincial nomination through five streams of the BC PNP. A second draw was held only for NOCs 0621 and 0631 which invited 47 additional candidates.

📍 May 26 - Ontario invited 147 candidates through the Employer Job Offer: International Student stream. Invited candidates scores 73 and above. Another 11 International Student candidates were invited through the Regional Immigration Pilot.

📍 The Victorian Government’s Skilled and Business Migration Program has conducted the final selection round of 2020-21 Registrations of Interest (ROIs) for the skilled migration program. This includes ROIs for nomination under the Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa and the Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa.

📍 All ROIs not selected have now expired and will not be considered further.

📍 Candidates who are still interested in Victorian skilled nomination will be required to submit a new ROI during a submission window from July 2021.

Prince Edward Island has released the details of its scheduled May 20 draw.

The province invited a total of 155 immigration candidates through its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

Most of the invitations, 138, were issued to Express Entry and Labour Impact candidates. The remaining 17 invitations went to Business Impact candidates who had a minimum point threshold of 80.

🇨🇦Ontario PNP draw invites health care and trades workers🇨🇦

Ontario has held its first Employer Job Offer draw almost two weeks after launching a new immigration intake system. Invited candidates had work experience in one of 23 occupations.

On May 11, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) invited 81 candidates who had profiles in the new Expression of Interest (EOI) pool. These candidates may qualify for the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream.

Candidates needed an EOI score of at least 31, and they needed to have job offers in one of 15 health care occupations, or eight skilled trades occupations. Here they are in order of their National Occupational Classification (NOC) code.

🔷Queensland 491-SBO (Small Business Owners) Pathway is OPEN.

🇨🇦Express Entry invites 266 candidates in it's New PNP draw🇨🇦

The CRS requirement in the new invitation round was 25 points lower than the previous PNP-only draw.

Canada invited 266 Express Entry candidates to apply for permanent residence on April 14.

In order to be invited in this draw, candidates needed a score of 753. This minimum score requirement may seem high compared to the average all-program, or Canadian Experience Class-only draw, but that is because invited candidates needed to have previously received a nomination from a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

PNP candidates automatically get 600 points just for receiving the provincial nomination. Without the nomination, the lowest-scoring candidate would have 153 points.

Candidates who had the minimum score of 753 were only invited if they submitted their Express Entry profile before March 01, 2021 at 15:22:18 UTC, as per the tie-break rule. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) publishes the cut-off time for the tie-break rule as an administrative requirement, regardless of whether there was an actual tie.

Prince Edward Island has released the details of its scheduled March 18 draw.

The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) issued a total of 150 invitations. Most of the invitations, 140, went to Express Entry and Labour Impact candidates. The remaining 10 invitations went to Business Impact candidates who had a minimum point threshold of 70.

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) allow Canada’s provinces and territories to select immigration candidates who meet their labour market needs. They sometimes align with Canada’s federal Express Entry system. Canada is aiming to admit 80,800 new immigrants through the PNPs this year.

Canada invited 5,000 Express Entry candidates to apply for permanent residence on March 18.

Invited candidates needed to be eligible for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) and have a score of at least 449 in order to receive an Invitation to Apply. Some of the basic eligibility requirements for the CEC include one year of full-time skilled work experience in Canada, and intermediate official language skills among other criteria.

🇨🇦Express Entry: 671 PNP candidates invited🇨🇦

Canada invited 671 Express Entry candidates to send in their applications for permanent residence on March 8.

Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited candidates who had a minimum score of 739. This score requirement seems high, but that is because everyone invited had previously received a nomination from a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

Express Entry candidates who get a provincial nomination are automatically given 600 points on top of their original human capital score. Meaning those who had the minimum score of 739, had a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 139 without the provincial nomination.

Candidates who had the minimum score of 739 were only included if they submitted their Express Entry profile before February 16, 2021 at 19:10:25 UTC, as per the tie-break rule.

🇨🇦Express Entry: Canada invites 27,332 immigration candidates in historic Saturday draw🇨🇦

Canada invited 27,332 candidates to apply for permanent residence in its latest Express Entry draw— you read that right.

Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited candidates from the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) on February 13. This unprecedented Express Entry invitation round only required candidates to have a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 75— the lowest CRS requirement ever.

Today’s draw was almost six times larger than the largest Express Entry draws ever (5,000 ITAs were issued in four straight draws between November 18 and December 23 last year). Prior to today, the lowest CRS cut-off requirement ever was 199 points in the May 16, 2017 draw which only invited Federal Skilled Trades Program candidates. Express Entry was launched in January 2015.

On Wednesday, Canada also held an Express Entry draw inviting 654 Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates to apply for permanent residence, that makes a total of 27,986 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) issued this week.

IRCC implemented the tie-break rule, meaning candidates who had the minimum score of 75 were only included if they submitted their Express Entry profile before September 12, 2020 at 15:31 UTC.
