Sitting on top of the steps leading from the banks of the river Ganges to the streets above is a red temple called the Nepali temple. It is a replica of the temple in Kathmandu, Nepal and is very different from the rest of the temples in Varanasi. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this shrine has a unique architecture and a great view of the adjoining Ganga from its top.
