Job Title: HR Coordinator (Event Management Company)
Position Overview:
As an HR Coordinator you will play a crucial role in facilitating various HR functions to ensure the smooth operation of our workforce, maintaining a positive employee experience, and contributing to the overall success of our events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute employee engagement activities, including team-building events, workshops, and recognition programs.
• Lead the creation, review, and revision of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ensure that policies align with Iraqi labor law and industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain the employee handbook, keeping it updated with the latest policies and procedures.
• Communicate changes to employees and ensure understanding and compliance.
• Lead the recruitment process for each event by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting interviews, and screenings of candidates.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, contracts, and certifications.
• Manage HR-related documentation, including offer letters, contracts (fixed term, part time, and freelancers), and termination letters.
• Assist in payroll processing and time tracking.
• Generate HR-related reports and metrics for management as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR data.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
• +3 Years experience in HR coordination or administration is a plus.
• Proficiency in Kurdish and English is a must.
• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
