The Red Church (Chaldean Cemetery)
It was built in the year 470 AD during the reign of the Archbishop of Kirkuk (Mar Maron), when Kirkuk was called (Karkh Slough).
It is located east of the city of Kirkuk .
The church is also known as the cemetery of (Tahmazgerd), who is the Persian Magian leader, at whose hand tens of thousands of Christians of Kirkuk and its environs were martyred, before he and his soldiers embraced and accepted Christianity as a religion and belief. Who, in turn, was martyred at the hands of the Persian Empire.

Kirkuk receives the first tourist group coming from the capital, Baghdad
The Check In Kirkuk team specialized in promoting tourism and antiquities in Kirkuk received the first tourist group coming from the capital, Baghdad, organized by Wen-Travel Tourism Company.
The group included a number of intellectuals, university professors and retirees
The trip included a tour to visit the ancient Kirkuk Citadel, the Prophet Daniel Mosque and a number of old heritage houses
In addition to visiting the traditional market of Caesarea Kirkuk, antique shops, and the largest factory for the manufacture of rashi in the city
The group set up a recreational camp in Taq Taq district on the Little Zab River.
The trip ended with a visit to the most famous refreshment shop in Kirku

Al Qaysareyah bazar is an old market in the city of Kirkuk in Iraq, located near the Kirkuk Citadel. Sources claim it was built in 1855 during the Ottoman Empire era. The market's layout symbolizes the hours, days, and months of the year. The market consist of 365 stores which symbolize the days of the year, has 12 small rooms in its second flour which symbolize the 12 months of the year, has 24 aisles which symbolize the hours of the day and has 7 doors which symbolizes the days of the week. Great Mosque (Ulu Mosque) The mosque is located above the Kirkuk Citadel, near the Prophet Daniel Mosque. It consists of four arcades resting on columns connected to each other by arched niches in the form of semicircular arcs. Most of the remains of this mosque were removed, leaving only some vaults with pointed arches and the remains of the minaret. The ancient name of this mosque bore the name of Mother Maria
