Gæsaveiði, tímabil: 20 ágúst- 30 september. Aðgangur að túnum og vatnasvæði. Andaveiði frá 1 september-15 mars . Veiði á pollum og við
ár. Rjúpnaveiði: ust á eftir að gefa út veiðitímabil fyrir næsta tímabil en sennilega verða þetta 5-6 helgar á tímabilinu mánaðarmót okt-nóv til mánaðarmóta nóv-des. Refaveiði frá 1 ágúst- 1 apríl
Boðið er uppá veiðileiðsögumann við allar þessar veiðar, gistingu, mat og nesti allt eftir hvað menn óska eftir. Akstur til og frá flugvelli er líka í boði. English:
Árdalur guesthouse has four rooms for rent. We have single/double rooms and also mattresses for the children if needed. Breakfast is included with all accommodation. Providers also offer lunch and dinner. On our menu is a variety of home grown organic foods. The grilled lamb chops are for instance one of our most popular meals on the menu but also the roasted leg of lamb, our famous icelandic meat soup, and smoked sausage. All of our meat is raised right here on the farm and is 100% organic. Cod fish raised in our area is also on the menu. We offer personal service on a beautiful family farm that is close to the national park (Ásbyrgi), Dettifoss, Hljóðaklettar and the town of Húsavík.
Árdalur is an exciting and beautiful place to visit. There is a playground for the children close to the house and all around the farm are enjoyable hiking trails where it is possible to explore caves. A popular trout fishing river is in walking distance of the farm. away it is possible to rent horses. They offer outstanding, four hour nature rides where it is possible to explore the caves of Kelduhverfi by horseback. Other activities/links:
