Today is Bóndadagurinn (Husband's Day) in Iceland! 🇮🇸 This charming tradition marks the first day of the ancient Norse month of Þorri, when husbands and partners are celebrated. Historically, farmers would hop outside in their long underwear to welcome Þorri—though nowadays, most prefer to stay cozy indoors and enjoy traditional Icelandic treats instead! It's the perfect excuse to try some unique Icelandic delicacies and learn about our fascinating food heritage. 🎉 One of the dishes enjoyed during Þorri is Sheep's head.
