I just came back from an 8-day tour around Iceland with a group of 14 enthusiastic travelers. Five of them wrote me a personal letter where they say, amongst other things:

Northern Lights Circle tour with the best tour guide we have ever experienced
Incredible knowledge and sense of humour. Despite very challenging weather conditions we always felt safe.
Each stop was special and his attention to detail with all the guest amazing.
Accommodation was excellent and we loved the traditional Icelandic food.
All aspects of the tour from scenery to museums to toilet stops were all amazing.
Well done Fridjon for making this experience so memorable for us.

This was a great tour! Fridjon was a wonderful tour guide. He provided great information and added humor too! The lunch at the tomato greenhouse was amazing…not only for the food but the ambiance as well. I would highly recommend him as a guide and this tour!

Best guide ever...bar NONE! Fridjon was punctual, knowledgeable, safe, flexible, entertaining and kind. We loved every minute we spent with this Icelandic gem of a tour guide! I wish we could clone him and bring him with us while we travel the world! He handled the shenanigans of four 50 year old college girlfriends with grace and humor and made our trip one that we will remember, and talk about, for the next 50 years! Þakka þér fyrir!!!

The tour by Fridjon was the best one we have ever been on. We had specific requests concerning the tour timing and sites. Each of these was fulfilled in a manner that left us with extra time to see more of beautiful Iceland and its wonderful people. Fridjon was knowledgeable, informative, and funny. He made the tour and history come alive while showing us the wonderful landscapes and food of Iceland. We would HIGHLY recommend hiring him!!!

We recently finished our 3 Day Tour of the South Island with Fridjon. He is an excellent guide (and driver) who is passionate and extremely knowledgeable about Iceland and it's culture, history, geography, geology and people. We had a wonderful time and will leave Iceland with fond memories of our time with Fridjon and a much greater understanding of a super interesting country and it's people. Many thanks!

Fridjon is great. He shared his wide knowledge of Iceland with us. He took us to wonderful places, including a tiny restaurant for lunch, where we ate on a deck overlooking the water. His tour is so different from a big bus tour. It's really the way to see the country.

We had a lovely trip to Iceland--every guide knowledgeable and professional. Among them all, however, Fridjon stood out. We loved how relaxed he was, and how comfortable he made us feel. He openly shared stories about himself and his own family, for example. He was flexible, moving us through his planned tour, yet accommodating all of our unplanned requests. It was like a great Sunday walk through Reykjavik with an old friend. Then, he dropped us at our cruise ship dock. A perfect day, really.

My husband and I are veterans of private tours since we have medical issues that need accommodation. Fridjon created a fun and lively itinerary that culminated in a dip at the Secret Lagoon, which turned out to be one of my favorite Iceland memories. But the best part was learning about the customs, politics, history, and way of life in Iceland from him. He answered all our questions, was entertaining and funny, but also is highly ethical. Book him without any reservations. Highly recommended!!!

We were thoroughly pleased with Fridjon's tour. He was very informative and helpful throughout the entire day. All of us would recommend his tours highly. We also wanted badly to get onto a Northern Lights Tour and he could not take us due to prior commitments but he took it upon himself to find us seats on a bus for the next night. We were very please and successful. Thank you Fridjon for making our trip to Iceland such a success.

Fridjon was a great guide, entertaining and informative. He helped us set up a helicopter volcano flight which was a high light of our visit. He was both interesting and interested, the perfect combination for a tour guide.

It is as simple as this - Fridjon is the absolute BEST! My children and I spent the most wonderfully amazing and memorable day exploring Iceland with the country's most informative, passionate, and just-plain-fun tour guide! Fridjon taught us an extraordinary amount about Iceland's history and folklore as well as about modern-day living in this incredible place, and we laughed the whole day through! Fridjon picked us up from the airport and then drove us on a Golden Circle Tour with lunch ending at our hotel. Fridjon's humor helped keep us awake since we were tired from our overnight flight. The scenery he showed us was breathtaking. He accommodated our requests and the tour was wonderful. This tour was the perfect start to our vacation. I highly recommend Fridjon.
