History of the city can be seen in the the Archaeological Museum as well as the Anzio Beachhead Museum (Museo dello Sbarco di Anzio), both located in the grand 17th-century Villa Adele. The Roman amphitheatre (Teatro Romano) and other major attractions are located within short distance.
